Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Leicestershire. It has also been representative of the county of Rutland. The club's limited overs team is called the Leicestershire Foxes. Founded in 1879, the club had minor county status until 1894, when it was promoted to first-class status pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895. Since then, Leicestershire have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England.
Arnold James Fothergill was an English professional cricketer who played first-class cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club and the MCC in a career which spanned from 1870 until 1892. A left-arm fast-medium pace bowler, he appeared for England in two Test matches in 1889.
Weston-super-Mare Association Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. Nicknamed "The Seagulls", the club is affiliated to the Somerset County Football Association and will compete in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football.
The Sports Ground, Woodbridge Road is a cricket ground in Guildford, Surrey. The ground was given to the town in trust in 1911 by Sir Harry Waechter, Bart. Guildford Cricket Club play their home matches on the ground. Surrey County Cricket Club usually play at least one County Championship match there each season, as well as some second XI and Surrey Stars fixtures. Until comparatively recently, hockey was played on the ground in winter. The ground was also used for football until at least 1921. It was the home ground of the amateur team Guildford F.C. who existed until 1953 and was also used as the venue for some Surrey Senior Cup finals.
Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club based in the town of Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. Since the club's formation in 1845, they have nurtured a number of players who have gone on to play for Somerset County Cricket Club and a select few who have gone on to play for the England Cricket Team. The first team currently play in the West of England Premier League, an ECB Premier League, the highest level of recreational club cricket in England and Wales.

Clarence Park was given to the town of Weston-super-Mare by Rebecca Davies in memory of her husband. The cricket pavilion at the park dates from 1882. A multitude of sports have been played at the park, including cricket. The ground is owned by the local council. It is currently used by Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club.
Eustace Tickell Hill (1869–1933) was a cricketer who made two first-class appearances for Somerset. The older brother of Vernon Hill, he first appeared for Somerset during their successful 1890 season. In a season in which Somerset remained undefeated against other county sides, Hill scored 20 and 0 batting at number five in a two-run victory over Hampshire. In 1892, he made two appearances against Lord Hawke's XI, playing one match for Madras Presidency and one for Bangalore and District. He made a further appearance for Madras Presidency the following December, playing against Parsees. He was back in England in July 1894, when he played for Somerset Club and Ground against Weston-super-Mare at the County Ground, Taunton, making a duck. His first-class debut came four years later, appearing alongside his brother for Somerset in the University Match against Oxford University., making 31 and 17 batting from number eight. His second, and final, first-class match was a repeat of his debut, playing Oxford University at the University Parks, Oxford in 1901. Coming in at number nine, after his brother had fallen for a duck, Hill also failed to score in the first-innings, but added 22 in the second.
Lansdown Cricket Club Ground is the cricket grounds in Bath, Somerset. Between 1825 and 1850, it was the name given to Lansdown Cricket Club's (LCC) ground 'Cricket Down'. In 1850, LCC moved to Sydenham Field, also in Bath. In 1869 the club moved again, and the name was then used for their 'Combe Park' ground, where they have played ever since.

North Perrott Cricket Club Ground is a former List A cricket ground located in North Perrott, Somerset. It hosted a single Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy match in 2001 between Somerset Cricket Board and Wales Minor Counties. The ground has also been used by Somerset County Cricket Club and Board for numerous other matches. It has also hosted the Somerset women's cricket team occasionally since 2005. The ground is home to North Perrott Cricket Club, and has been since its creation in 1946.
Westlands Sports Ground is a former List A cricket ground located in Yeovil, Somerset. The ground is home to Westlands Sports Club, originally formed from employees of Westland Aircraft. Between 1971 and 1978, the ground hosted annual Somerset County Cricket Club matches in late May or early June. In later years, the club has used the ground for Second XI and youth cricket.
Rowdens Road is a former first-class cricket ground located in Wells, Somerset. The ground was an early home to Wells Cricket Club, though the club no longer plays there. Between 1935–1939 and 1946–1951, the ground hosted annual Somerset County Cricket Club matches. In the first first-class match at the ground in 1935, Somerset were dismissed by Worcestershire for just 56; a factor may have been that the match was played under what Wisden Cricketers' Almanack termed "novel conditions". It went on: "There were no sight-screens, and the match details were broadcast from the scorers' box by means of a microphone and loud-speakers."
Reigate Priory Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Reigate, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1853 when East Surrey played West Sussex. It hosted its first first-class match in 1909 when Surrey played Oxford University. The next first-class match came in 1924 when HDG Leveson-Gower's XI played the touring South Africans. HDG Leveson-Gower's XI returned to the Priory to play first-class matches in 1934, where they played 3 further matches from 1934 to 1936, playing their final first-class match there against Oxford University.
The Imperial Athletic Ground was a cricket ground in south Bristol owned by the Imperial Tobacco group and used by Somerset. The first first-class match on the ground was in 1957, when Somerset played Sussex in the County Championship. From 1957 to 1966, the ground played host to 9 first-class matches, with the final first-class match held at the ground between Somerset and Hampshire.
Bath Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Bath, Somerset. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1944, when Bath played London Counties. In 1960 and 1963, the ground held Somerset Second XI matches in the Minor Counties Championship.
Wagon Works Ground is a cricket ground in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The ground was owned by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company.
Taunton Vale Sports Club is a multi use community sports club located in Taunton, Somerset. Taunton Vale HC, Taunton Cricket and Taunton Vale Tennis Club are the resident sports clubs. It is also the regular home venue of both Somerset County Cricket Club's Second XI, Somerset CCC also holding many of their games against MCC Universities teams at the ground, which have so far included two first-class matches, in 2012 and 2015.
Kasey Luke Aldridge is an English cricketer. He made his first-class debut in July 2021, for Somerset on the third day of their 2021 County Championship match against Leicestershire as a substitute for Craig Overton following his international call-up. Prior to his first-class debut, Aldridge was named in England's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
