Dhamaura is a village in Mahottari District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It comes under Balawa Municipality At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 9,221 people living in 1,712 individual households. [1]

Dhamaura has a government school Dhamaura Higher Secondary School run by the Ministry of Education,Nepal. It was founded by Tej Narayan Singh. [2]

Bijayalpura or Bijalpura is a neighborhood or a Tol (Nepali:टोल) in Bardibas city. It was a village development committee in Mahottari District before 2015. In 2015, when Government of Nepal decided to dissolve the old thousands of VDCs and declare new 753 local level body then this VDC merged with Bardibas. It is located in the outskirts of Pipara village of Mahottari district in Nepal. It provides education up to junior college level in Management, Science, and Education streams. It is affiliated with National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal. It is a government higher secondary school in Nepal. The new building of the school was built with the help of Indian Embassy in Nepal. Indian Consul General Gururaj Rao laid the foundation stone of the new building of the school on 23 November 2006. This school comes under Indo-Nepal Friendship Corporation. It is one of the important school in the region. The motto of the school is "From darkness lead me to light". The founder of the school was Ram Narayan Mishra. He was the former Minister for Industry and Commerce in the Royal government of Nepal in King Mahendra regime. He took his office of Ministry on 27 May 1959.

Dhamaura Higher Secondary School also known as Janata Rastriya Secondary School, is the higher secondary school in Dhamaura village run by the Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal. It is located in Balawa Municipality of Mahottari district and provides education for more than 1800 students mainly from Dalit, Janajati, Adiwasi community.It runs education programs in the streams of Science, Management, and Education, as well as diploma courses. It is affiliated with National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal.
