Dharam Singh Saini is an Indian politician and is a member of the 14th,15th,16th and the Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh of India. Saini represents the Nakur constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Samajwadi Party political party. [2] [3]
Dharam Singh Saini was born in village Sona in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He attained Gurukul Ayurved Mahavidyalaya,Jwalapur,Haridwar (now Uttarakhand Ayurved University - Gurukul Campus,Haridwar) and earned B.A.M.S degree and is a practicing Ayurveda physician. [2]
Saini has been a MLA for three straight terms. During the 14th and 15th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh he represented the Sarsawa assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh. During the 15th Legislative Assembly,he was also a minister. [2] He got the ministries of Ayush,Relief and Rehabilitation. [4] Saini has been a proponent of premiership of Keshav Prasad Maurya for the state of Uttar Pradesh. In 2023,in a socio-cultural program organised by Saini people called "Bhagirath Jayanti",he declared that Maurya should be Chief Minister of state of Uttar Pradesh. [5]

Parasnath Yadav was an Indian politician and was elected 7 times MLA in Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh,3 times Minister in Government of Uttar Pradesh and 2 times Member of Parliament from Jaunpur. He was suffering from bladder cancer for many years,eventually he died on the 12 June 2020 at his residence in Jaunpur district,Uttar Pradesh.

Ram Chandra Vikal was a freedom fighter. He was an agriculture minister and was elected twice as a Member of Parliament as well as a five-time Member of the Legislative Assembly. He had charge of Jammu and Kashmir during the governments of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. He was also a well known yoga teacher. Vikal was influenced by the ideology of the Arya Samaj from childhood and participated in the freedom movement from his student days. Rani Saroj Kumari Gaurihar was an Indian writer,politician and freedom fighter. She hailed from the former princely state of Gaurihar. Maurya is a surname used by Kushwaha caste in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The community called Kushwaha are also known as Koeri,Kachhi,Shakya,Murao and Saini in various parts of the state of Uttar Pradesh. They are second largest OBC group in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh after Yadavs and are one of the most politically organised peasant community in India after Jats,Yadavs and Kurmis.
