Gåte is a band from Trøndelag, Norway playing Norwegian folk music bred with metal and electronica. Their style has been referred to as progressive folk-rock. The band was put together by Sveinung Sundli in 2000 and originally consisted of his little sister Gunnhild Sundli (vocals), Gjermund Landrø, Martin Langlie (drums) and Magnus Robot Børmark. Langlie was replaced by Kenneth Kapstad in 2004.

Raga Rockers is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo with Michael Krohn on vocals. The band was formed in 1982 by front man Michael Krohn. The other original members were Livio Aiello on bass, Bruno Hovden on guitar, Jan Arne Kristiansen on drums, Hugo Alvarstein on keyboards. Tore Berg on guitar in 1984 and Nils Aune on guitar and keyboards in 1988. The band has made various changes in its line-up with more recent joiners including Hugo Alvarstein, Eivind Staxrud and Hågen Rørmark.

Skambankt

Skambankt is a Norwegian hard rock band from Klepp, just south of Stavanger. They play a mixture of classic rock'n'roll, punk and hardrock in the tradition of bands like Motörhead, AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Ramones and The Stooges. All the lyrics are in Norwegian.

Reptilian is the fifth studio album by the Norwegian extreme metal band Keep of Kalessin, released on 10 May 2010 in Europe and on 8 June 2010 in North America through Nuclear Blast. The album peaked at number two on the Norwegian record chart, VG-lista. This would be the last album with Torbjørn "Thebon" Schei on vocals before being fired in 2013.

Plumbo

Plumbo is a Norwegian rock and folk rock band from Sande, Vestfold, Norway. The three-piece band consists of Lars Erik Blokkhus, Tommy Elstad (bass) and Hasse Rønningen (drums), with assistance from supporting musician Glenn Hauger on accordion and flute. Their repertoire includes Norwegian songs with a traditional twist, rock music elements and international appeal.

Highasakite

Highasakite is an indie pop and indie rock band originating from Norway. The band formed when vocalist and songwriter Ingrid Helene Håvik met drummer Trond Bersu whilst studying jazz at the Trondheim Jazz Conservatory. In 2010, after just six months, the duo started working on their debut album. The album All That Floats Will Rain was released in 2012 via Riot Factory in Norway.

Unni Wilhelmsen

Unni Elisabeth Wilhelmsen is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and musician. Her musical influences are pop music and the American tradition of the singer-songwriter in which the lyrics play an important role as well as the music. She lives in Oslo but has throughout her career had the whole of Norway as a venue. When she made her breakthrough in 1996 with her debut album To Whom It May Concern (Polygram), she became an important mediator of the singer-songwriter genre, a genre that has a broad audience in Norwegian popular music.

Staut is a Norwegian rock, folk and pop band from Valdres, Oppland that was founded in 2009 with efforts of songwriter Ørnulf Juvkam Dyve using many times the local dialect with Gaute Ausrød as band vocalist. The 6-member band performs a mixed version of rock, folk, pop and country owing to the varied origins of its members. The band has released six albums to date, Staut in 2010 heavily touring in 2011 for its promotion and the follow-up album Eigarlaus in 2012 reaching number 2 in the Norwegian Albums Chart, Stugureint in 2013 that peaked at number 1 in its first week of release, St. Peppersby in 2014, Ja in 2017 and Makalaus in 2019.

Hekla Stålstrenga is a Norwegian folk and folk rock band specializing in North Norwegian traditional music. It was formed in 2008 as a duo by fiddler Ragnhild Furebotten and guitarist Tore Bruvoll. They had their first recording as a duo, for which they were nominated during Spellemannprisen, the Norwegian Grammies, for "Best folk music band". They later on added lead vocalist Anne Nymo Trulsen, drummer Ole-Jakob Larsen and acoustic bassist Trond-Viggo Solas to become a five-member band.

Midnight Choir is the debut album of the Norwegian band Midnight Choir, released 1994 on the Fjording label. Splid is the fourth studio album by Norwegian heavy metal band Kvelertak, released on 14 February 2020. The album was recorded in GodCity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, United States. It is the band's first album with vocalist Ivar Nikolaisen and drummer Håvard Takle Ohr.
