Världens bästa lotta is an album from the Swedish dansband and pop singer Lotta Engberg. It was released on 22 March 2006 and is a double CD collection of some of Lotta's hits throughout the years. Some of the songs on the record are performed by her as a solo artist, others together with the bands Lotta & Anders Engbergs Orkester and Lotta Engbergs. The album peaked at number 17 on the Swedish Albums Chart.

La Dolce Vita – Det Bästa 1982–2003 is the second compilation album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. Unlike the previous greatest hits compilation, Hits, this double CD spanned Scocco's entire career, including his early career as a member of the pop group Ratata. The selections were picked by Scocco himself. It also included a version of the Scocco-penned Lisa Nilsson hit "Himlen runt hörnet", featuring Scocco himself, Nilsson, and Swedish blues artist Driftwood. There were also various unreleased demos included on the album. It was released in 2003 through Scocco's own record label Diesel Music.

MGP Junior is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. It originated in 2000 as a spin-off of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, before coming the national selection for the now-extinct MGP Nordic in 2002 and from 2006 to 2009. Sannex is a dansband from Sweden. The band was formed as a school project in 1977. In the mid-1980s, it was a six-man band, which invested in a professional career. In 1987, Sannex became the backing band for Ann-Louise Hanson, and in November 1987 became a full-time dance band, after working with Ann-Louise for five weeks at Restaurant Cabaret in Stockholm. They participated in Dansbandskampen in 2009.

Leif Bloms was a dansband in Växjö in Sweden. scoring chart successes at the Swedish album chart during the mid-late 1970s. On 31 December 1995 the band was disbanded after singing and playing together for almost 40 years. Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song "Dej ska jag älska all min tid" which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö. After the band was disbanded, Mona Gustafsson, Patrik Ahlm and René Saulesco founded another dansband, Mona G:s orkester.

Carina Jaarneks orkester was a dansband in the town of Ronneby, Sweden, scoring chart successes at Svensktoppen between the late 1980s and the early 2000s, with Carina Jaarnek acting as the band's singer. It was started in 1989. In 1991, the band won the first, unofficial, edition of the Swedish Dansband Championships contest. In the year 2000, the band participated in the finals of the Dansbandslåten contest with the song Minns du hur vi älskade which, however, didn't win the contest.

Tack & farväl was released on 14 November 2012 and is a Thorleifs double compilation album in connection to the band disestablishment the same year. The opening track, Déjà vu, was new-written by Thomas G:son. That song was originally written for Melodifestivalen 2008., where Thorleifs were originally intended to participate.

Våra bästa år is a 2007 Thorleifs double compilation album. Seven of the songs were new back then. Outside Sweden, special versions of the album were released in Denmark, Finland and Norway. On the album charts, it peaked at 24th position in Denmark, and 7th position in Sweden.
