Diana DeMuth is an American singer-songwriter from Concord, Massachusetts. [1]

History

DeMuth began writing songs at the age of eleven, and released her first EP in 2008 at the age of fourteen. [1] [2] This was followed in 2011 with another self-published EP, Restless Mind. [3] In 2013, DeMuth was a contestant on the American singing competition show The X Factor. [2] She decided to audition for the show on a whim during a layover while in Colorado. DeMuth made it to the round of 30 before exiting the competition. [4] DeMuth released her first album, titled Albuquerque, in 2015, working with producer Alain Mallet. [1] DeMuth released her second full-length album, The Doorway, in the summer of 2017. [4] Looking to revitalize her career and having signed to Thirty Tigers in 2019, DeMuth released her first song in three years titled Hotel Song. [5] DeMuth released a new song in January 2020 titled Rose of Nantucket. [6] In April 2020, DeMuth released another new song titled Steady Rolling. [7] [8] In mid-2021, DeMuth released her third full-length album titled Misadventure. [9] The album was produced by Simone Felice and David Baron. [8]

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is the fourth studio album by American rock band Wilco, first released on September 18, 2001. Recording sessions for the album began in late 2000. These sessions, which were documented for the film I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, were marred by conflicts including a switch in drummers and disagreements among the band members and engineers about songs. Despite this, the album would be completed in early 2001. The album showcased a more atmospheric and experimental sound than the band's previous work, and has been described as art rock and indie rock by music critics. It was the band's first album with drummer Glenn Kotche, and last with multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Jay Bennett.
