Diana Kubasova is a beauty queen and model from Latvia, who won Miss Multiverse 2018, [2] Miss Europe 2017 [3] [4] and Miss All Nations 2010. [5] She was first runner-up at Miss Bikini International 2010 and second runner-up at Miss Supertalent of the World 2012.[ citation needed ]

Diana was named Sexiest Woman Alive 2013 by the influential beauty pageant news portal Global Beauties. [6] She was chosen among the 400 beauties who competed in the five Grand Slam pageants (Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, Miss International and Miss Tourism Queen) in 2013. She also has been named several times by the FHM magazine in Latvia as one of the 100 Sexiest Women In The World. She has worked with international brands like Guess, Maison Margiela, Zadig & Voltaire, Jaeger Lecoultre, Adidas, Armine, Galvanni etc. Her passion is languages and she speaks seven. She also studied in Stockholm School of Economics, one of the best universities in Europe, where she received a BSc degree in Financial Economics and Business.

Miss Europe 2017

Diana Kubasova won Miss Europe 2017 on May 13, 2017. On 24–26 May 2017 she became a special guest of the Cannes Film Festival. [7] [8] [9] On November 10, 2018, she crowned the new winners from Russia and Ukraine who shared the 2018 Miss Europe title.

There they would select the top 15, then the top 10 and the final 5. So far the pageant was held only thrice: 2005, 2006, and in 2022.

Musiqq is a Latvian pop music duo from Liepāja formed by Marats Ogļezņevs and Emīls Balceris. The duo first gained exposure in June 2009 with the release of their first single “Klimata kontrole”("Climate control"), but on October 1 their second single "Abrakadabra" came out, which was a radio hit in Latvia and "SEB Musical Bank 2009" winner. Their debut album "Šī ir tikai mūzika"("This is just music") was released in March 2010, which included radio hits such as "Abrakadabra", "Dzimšanas diena" ("Birthday") and "Klimata kontrole". Both singers were awarded as "Gada Liepājnieks"("Liepajnieks of the year" is a prize awarded for those, who have invested their time, effort and talent into making the city a better place) in nomination "'Music" and received three Copyright infinity prizes, because their songs are the most played on the radio, television and concerts. On 21 November 2013 the roof of a Maxima shopping centre in the Zolitūde neighbourhood of Riga, Latvia, collapsed at 17:41 local time resulting in the deaths of 54 people, including three rescue workers, and injuries to another 41 people. An unknown number of people were able to leave the store on their own after the initial collapse. It was the worst disaster in Latvia since 1950, when the steamer Mayakovsky sank in Riga, killing 147 people.
