Kenya Vision 2030 is a Kenyan development program, aiming to raise the average standard of living in Kenya to middle income by 2030. It was launched on 10 June 2008 by President Mwai Kibaki. Developed through "an all-inclusive and participatory stakeholder consultative process, involving Kenyans from all parts of the country," the Vision is based on three "pillars": Economic, Social, and Political. The Vision's adoption comes after the country's GDP growth went from 0.6% in 2002 to 6.1% in 2006, under Kibaki's Economic Recovery Strategy for Wealth and Employment Creation (ERS).
Professor Leah Marangu is a Kenyan academic. She was born in South Imenti, Meru County, Kenya. She is considered to be one of Kenya's most distinguished and decorated scholars.
Amina Chawahir Mohamed Jibril, born 5 October 1961, is a former Kenyan cabinet secretary, lawyer and a diplomat of Somali descent. She is the immediate former Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Heritage and Culture in Kenya. She previously served as chairwoman of the International Organization for Migration and the World Trade Organization's General Council, as well as Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme. She served as the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya from May 2013 to February 2018, when President Uhuru Kenyatta, after re-election, moved her to the Education docket. In March 2019, she was moved to the Sports Ministry replacing Rashid Echesa. The KNEC Director, George Magoha replaced her in the Education docket.
Anne Mumbi Waiguru, EGH, is the second Governor of Kirinyaga County in Kenya, who has been in office since 22 August 2017.
Gender representation on corporate boards of directors refers to the proportion of men and women who occupy board member positions. To measure gender diversity on corporate boards, studies often use the percentage of women holding corporate board seats and the percentage of companies with at least one woman on their board. Globally, men occupy more board seats than women. As of 2018, women held 20.8% of the board seats on Russell 1000 companies. Most percentages for gender representation on corporate boards refer only to public company boards. Private companies are not required to disclose information on their board of directors, so the data is less available.
Funmi Olonisakin is a British Nigerian scholar, who is a Professor of leadership, peace and conflict at King's College London, and an Extra-Ordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria. She is the founder and former Director of the African Leadership Centre (ALC) founded on the principle of Pan-Africanism to build the next generation of leaders and scholars on the African continent with core transformational values. Olonisakin is the Programme Director of the ALC's Master of Science (MSc) programmes on Leadership, peace and security. She is a research associate of Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria, and was an Andrew Mellon Foundation distinguished scholar and a distinguished fellow of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). She is currently an appointed member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) advisory group of experts. on the review of the UN Peace-building Architecture.
Jane Njoki Mugambi (Mrs)[nee Kimemia], OGW, PHD {December 23, 1967} was born in Gituamba Village, Gituamba Sub-Location, Githerioni Location, Lari Division, Kiambu District, Central Province, Kenya, East Africa, Africa and is currently the Policy Advisor to the Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government of Kenya, Secretary for the Project Implementation for the National Development Implementation Communication Cabinet Committee, Principal Administrative Secretary and Secretary (Technical) Coordination in the Ministry of Interior and coordination of the National Coordination of the Government of Kenya. She was previously Chief Executive Officer Secretary of State's Corporations Advisory Committee Between 15 March 2013 to 14 October 2019 for a cumulative period of six years seven months; served as the Secretary to the Presidential Task Force on Parastatal Reforms (Head of Secretariat) between 23 July 2013 to 9 October 2013, for a cumulative period of three months; served as the Secretary to the Presidential Committee on Implementation of Parastatal Reforms (Head of Secretariat); served as the Chairperson On The Taskforce on Developing a Handbook for State Owned Entities on Corporate Ethics and Business Integrity (Spearhead Reform Continentally) and led Kenya to gain admission to the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD) as a member of the State Owned Entities Network for Southern Africa and continuously serves in the Kenyan Public Service. Mrs. Mugambi was an Associate Principal of The Academic Satellite Centre in Nairobi City, Nairobi Region, with additional responsibility for other centres at Nakuru City, Rift Valley Region, Nyeri Town, Central Region and Mombasa City, Coast Region as the Human Resource Administrator Manager, reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs, from time to time reports to the Vice Chancellor Professor Mutuma Mugambi; DSM., MBS., MBChB., Dip., CardioL., PhD., MKAS., FCAM., SS from 29 December 2005 to 20 February 2007, also served as the Deputy Registrar, human resource and administration from 17 September 2002 to 29 December 2005, served as Secretary from 13 September 1999 to 13 September 2002 and as an entry-level position of an Administrative Secretary from 13 September 1996 to 13 September 1999; she cumulatively served for a period of fourteen years in the private service sector.
Isaac Maigua Mwaura is the current Government Spokesman of Kenya, a former Senator as well as a former Cabinet Administrative Secretary (CAS) - Deputy Minister in the Office of Prime Cainet Secretary. Mwaura served as a Senator in Kenya's Senate under the Jubilee Party between 2017 and 2022 where he was nominated to represent Persons with Disabilities between 2017 and 2022. He was the third person to occupy that position under the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. He also served as member of Parliament in the National Assembly from 2013 to 2017 after being nominated by the Orange Democratic Movement Party to represents special Interest Groups. He was the first Member of the National Assembly (MP) and Senator in Kenya with albinism. House of Lungula is a 2013 Kenyan comedy film directed by Alexandros Konstantaras. It focuses on the sex life of typical Kenyans.The word "lungula" means "sex" in Kenyan slang, Sheng. The film stars Gerald Langiri, Lizz Njagah and Ian Mbugua.
Johnson Arthur Sakaja is a Kenyan politician serving as the governor of Nairobi City County since 25 August 2022. Previously, he served as the Senator of Nairobi from 2017 to 2022, and as a nominated Member of the National Assembly from 2013 to 2017. He was nominated to Parliament by The National Alliance (TNA) party which was part of the ruling Jubilee Coalition. He was the National Chairman of The National Alliance (TNA) until 9 September 2016 when the party merged with 12 others to form the Jubilee Party.
Wavinya Ndeti EGH is a Kenyan politician and a business woman who is serving as the 2nd Governor of Machakos County. She previously served as a member of parliament for the Kathiani Constituency in the 10th Kenyan parliament and an assistant minister in the ministry of youth affairs and sport from 2008 to 2013. She was the first woman to be elected as a member of parliament in Machakos county since independence. She was a CCU candidate in 2013 and WDM-K candidate in 2017 for Machakos Governor.

Before that, from 17 June 2020 until 22 April 2022, she served as executive director of the United Nations Global Compact, succeeding Lise Kingo of Denmark.
Githinji Gitahi is a Kenyan medical doctor who serves as the Global Chief Executive Officer of Amref Health Africa as well a former co-chair of the UHC2030 Steering Committee. In July 2021, he was appointed as a Commissioner in the Africa COVID-19 Commission.
Jennifer Kabura Karina, is a Kenyan businesswoman, "psychologist, certified professional coach, energy leadership practitioner, public speaker and author". Effective July 2021, she serves as the chairperson of the board of directors at the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation, a publicly traded company on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Before she was appointed to her current position, she was a member of the board at Kenya RE and chaired the human resources and nominations committee of that board.
