Noriko Itō, better known by the stage name of Noriko Hidaka, is a Japanese actress, voice actress, singer and narrator. She played Minami Asakura in Touch, Akane Tendo in Ranma ½, Satsuki Kusakabe in My Neighbor Totoro, Near in Death Note, Jean Roque Raltique in Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, Kikyō in Inuyasha, Patricia O'Sullivan in Mischievous Twins: The Tales of St. Clare's, Erica Fontaine in Sakura Wars and Masumi Sera in Detective Conan. She is also the dub actress for Jayma Mays in the American TV series Glee, as well as in The Smurfs film series.

<i>Hyper Police</i> Manga and anime series

Hyper Police is a Japanese manga series and written and illustrated by Minoru Tachikawa. It is set in a period in the far future, in which humanity is almost extinct and most of the population are monsters. The series mostly follows the offices of a private police company and focuses on the life of Natsuki Sasahara, a young catgirl, and her co-workers: foxgirl Sakura Bokuseiinmonzeninari, werewolf Batanen Fujioka and his cousin Tomy Fujioka.

Noriko Ogawa, born Shigemi Tanimoto, is a Japanese actress and J-pop singer born in Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan on 20 July 1973. In 1979, she made acting debut as a child-actress in television drama series Tetsudou Kouankan and in 1987 singing debut with the single Namida o Tabanete under Taurus Records. Her alma mater is Waseda University.

<i>Gunbuster</i> 1988 anime directed by Hideaki Anno

Gunbuster, known in Japan as Top o Nerae!, is a Japanese OVA anime series produced by Bandai Visual, Victor, and Gainax and released from 1988 to 1989. It was the directorial debut of Hideaki Anno, best known as the creator and director of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The title is a combination of the titles of classic tennis manga and anime Aim for the Ace! and hit action drama film Top Gun, whose plot inspired Gunbuster's. To celebrate Gainax's 20th anniversary in 2004, a sequel to Gunbuster, Diebuster, was released as an OVA. The sequel features new characters and mecha, but retains the format and many of the concepts of the original series.

Dai-Guard is an anime television series, produced and animated by XEBEC, and directed by Seiji Mizushima. It aired from October 5, 1999, to March 28, 2000, on TV Tokyo, running for 26 episodes. 6 volumes of videos were released on VHS and DVD. The series also had a very brief run on Cartoon Network through Toonami's "Giant Robot Week".

The story follows Jun Fudo, a model who can transform into the powerful Devil Lady and protects humanity from devil beasts and their creations.

Gear Fighter Dendoh is a Japanese robot anime television series produced by TV Tokyo, Yomiko Advertising and Sunrise. It was directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, with Chiaki Morosawa handling series scripts, Hirokazu Hisayuki designing the characters and monsters, Satoshi Shigeta serving as mechanical animation director and Toshihiko Sahashi composing the music. The series ran for 38 episodes, from October 4, 2000 to June 27, 2001, on the TV Tokyo network and its affiliates.

The Brave Police J-Decker is the fifth series of the anime television meta Brave series (Yūsha) created by Takara and Sunrise. It aired in Japan from February 5, 1994 to January 28, 1995. Brave Police J-Decker returns the series to a subtly lighter tone, focusing more on the concept of "robot as human-built AI construct" emphasized by the previous season's series, The Brave Express Might Gaine. The series takes place in the fictional city of Nanamagari City.

Nekketsu Saikyō Go-Saurer is a 51-episode animated television series, and third generation Eldran franchise funded by Tomy after Genki Bakuhatsu Ganbaruger and produced by Sunrise. It aired in Japan from March 3, 1993, to February 23, 1994. The story for this entry is that a group of elementary school children are given command of the series' title mecha and their efforts to defend the Earth from the hands of the Mechanization Empire which was led by Kikaishin, the boss of this organization himself. It firstly introduces a female pilot, additional pilots who pilot auxiliary mecha and jet mode. In addition, it is the first season to start with four pilots, having all members having the same bracelet and introduce a super robot piloted by multiple pilots.

Dancouga Nova – Super God Beast Armor is a Super Robot anime television series, produced by Ashi Productions and is directed by Masami Ōbari, who was also in charge of mechanical design. The series is supposedly a follow-up of its predecessor, Dancouga – Super Beast Machine God. The series premiered across Japan on the Japanese CS television network Animax, and also KBS Kyoto on 15 February 2007, spanning a total of 12 episodes.

<i>Hug! Pretty Cure</i> Japanese anime television series

Hug! Pretty Cure, also known as Hugtto! PreCure, is a Japanese magical girl anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It is the fifteenth series in the Pretty Cure franchise, released to in commemoration of its 15th anniversary. It is directed by Junichi Sato and Akifumi Zako and written by Fumi Tsubota. The character designs were done by Toshie Kawamura, who previously worked on Yes! PreCure 5 and Smile PreCure!. It began airing on ANN on February 4, 2018, succeeding Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode in its timeslot. It was then succeeded by Star Twinkle PreCure on February 3, 2019. The series' main topic is destiny and future, with dress code as the Cures' main motifs.
