Northern Bahr el Ghazal(Arabic:ولايةشمالبحرالغزال) is a state in South Sudan. It has an area of 30,543 km2 and is part of the Bahr el Ghazal region. It borders East Darfur in Sudan to the north,Western Bahr el Ghazal to the west and south,and Warrap and the disputed region of Abyei to the east. Aweil is the capital of the state.

Prior to independence,he was the President of the Government of Southern Sudan,as well as First Vice President of Sudan,from 2005 to 2011. He was named Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) in 2005,following the death of John Garang.

He served as Minister of Petroleum and Mining and Minister of Commerce and Industry. Stephen Dhieu Dau is from Melut County,Upper Nile State,and belongs to the Nyiel section of the Padang Dinka ethnic group. In October 2022,President Salva Kiir appointed Stephen Dhieu Dau as the chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Revenue Authority. In December 2022,He was appointed as a member of the SPLM Political Bureau.
Nyandeng Malek Deliech is a South Sudanese politician. She has served as governor of Warrap state since 25 May 2010,winning with 517,149 votes. She is the first female elected state governor in South Sudan.
The Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) is the central bank of the Republic of South Sudan. Established in July 2011,by an Act of Parliament,it replaced the now defunct Bank of Southern Sudan,a former branch of the Bank of Sudan,which had served as the central bank of South Sudan,during the period between February 2005 until July 2011. The bank is fully owned by the Government of South Sudan.

Elijah Malok Aleng was a South Sudanese public servant,general,and politician,from [Twic Dinka/Twi East county] in Jonglei State. He was born on 28 November 1937 at Thianwong village when his family was living among the Pen people in Angakuei in Baidit,about 20 miles northeast of Bor town. His family,which is originally from Awulian in Wangulei,Twic East County,migrated back to be with fellow Awulian kinfolks. He attended Malek Primary School (1950–1953),and then Juba Intermediate School and Juba Commercial Senior Secondary School,graduating He then attended Free University of the Congo,in the present Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC),and later got a scholarship to study in Fribourg Catholic University,Switzerland,from which he obtained a master's degree in economics in 1972. In 1975 he obtained another Masters in Development Studies and Economic Planning from Wolfson College,Cambridge in the United Kingdom. In his memoirs:the Southern Sudan:Struggle for Liberty,named Chief Deng Biar Abit,leader of the Awulian clan,Paul Logali,former finance minister of Southern Sudan regional government and Akec Kwai Biar,former Bor District Commissioner and his cousin as the people who positively influenced him.
Corruption in South Sudan is among the worst in the world. The nation's elites have developed a kleptocratic system that controls every part of the South Sudanese economy. This system has taken shape quickly in a relatively short period,South Sudan having won self-rule in 2005 while remaining part of Sudan,and having been accorded full sovereignty in 2011.
Aweil East also known as Abiem,was a state in South Sudan that existed between 2 October 2015 and 22 February 2020. It had an estimated population of 571,728 people and an area of 6,172.23 KM square. It was located in northern-western South Sudan. Its capital and largest city was Wanyjok. The state is located in the Bahr el Ghazal region and it bordered Twic State and Gogrial State to the east,Aweil State to the south,Lol State to the west,the disputed Abyei State region to the northeast,and Sudan to the north.
Maridi State was a state in South Sudan that existed between 2 October 2015 and 22 February 2020. It was formed on 2 October 2015 from Western Equatoria state. It was located in the Equatoria region. Maridi State bordered the states of Amadi State,Gbudwe State,Western Lakes State,and Yei River State.
Akec Tong Aleu was the first governor of defunct Tonj state. He was also a minister of cabinet affairs in Warrap state in the earlier 2018. has been the Governor of Tonj State,South Sudan since 24 December 2015. He is the first governor of the state,which was created by President Salva Kiir on 2 October 2015.
General Saeed Chawul Lom is a South Sudanese police chief who was Inspector General of the police. Lom was appointed in 2017 by a presidential decree issued by President Salva Kiir following the sacking of General Makur Marol Adout. Lom served 11 months as the head of South Sudan police before his removal from office by a presidential decree. Lom had served as commissioner of police in the newly created Jubek State. Prior to the creation of the state of South Sudan,Lom worked in Khartoum for several years where he was dismissed three times for breach of police work ethics and conflict of interest. He was reinstated into the South Sudan police services along with other dismissed generals during the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).
Martin Elia Lomuro is a South Sudanese politician. Lomuro is currently the Minister of Cabinet Affairs in the Revitalised Transitional Government of National Unity (R-TGoNU) as of 2022. He is also the leader of the National Agenda,a registered political party formally known as South Sudan Democratic Forum,SSSDF.
