Reba Nell McEntire, also known mononymously as Reba, is an American country singer, songwriter, and actress. She began her career in the music industry as a high school student singing in the Kiowa High School band, on local radio shows with her siblings, and at rodeos. While a sophomore in college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, she performed the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City and caught the attention of country artist Red Steagall who brought her to Nashville, Tennessee. She signed a contract with Mercury Records a year later in 1975. She released her first solo album in 1977 and released five additional studio albums on the label until 1983, using producers who placed her within the Nashville sound.
Scherrie Ann Payne is an American singer. Payne is best known as a member of the R&B/Soul vocal group The Supremes from 1973 until 1977. Because of her powerful voice and petite stature (5'2"), Payne is sometimes referred to as "the little lady with the big voice." Payne is the younger sister of singer Freda Payne. Payne continues to perform, both as a solo act and as a part of the "Former Ladies of the Supremes" (FLOS).
Thomas Rhett Akins Sr. is an American country music singer and songwriter. Signed to Decca Records between 1994 and 1997, he released two albums for that label, followed by 1998's What Livin's All About on MCA Nashville. Friday Night in Dixie was released in 2002 on Audium Entertainment. Prairie Oyster was a Canadian country music group from Toronto, Ontario. They were named Country Group or Duo of the year six times by both the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) and the Juno Awards. The band also won the Bud Country Fans' Choice Award from the CCMA in 1994. They have four No. 1 country singles in Canada, with an additional 12 singles reaching the Canadian Country Top 10. "Live to Tell" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album True Blue (1986). It was released as the lead single from True Blue on March 26, 1986, by Sire Records. Originally composed by Patrick Leonard for the score of the film Fire with Fire, the instrumental was shown to Madonna, who decided to use it for then-husband Sean Penn's film At Close Range. American country music artist Crystal Gayle has released 15 music videos and 68 singles, including six as a collaborative artist, four as a featured artist, and six promos. "Goodbye, So Long, Hello" is a song recorded by Canadian country music group Prairie Oyster, written by Willie P. Bennett and band member Russell deCarle. It was released in February 1990 as the first single from their second studio album, Different Kind of Fire. It peaked at number 3 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in May 1990. Two different b-sides were used on different editions: a cover of the Willie P. Bennett song "Take My Own Advice", and the Joan Besen song "Different Kind of Fire". Both tracks also appear on the studio album. A double A-side promo version was also released.
