Diganta Hazarika is an Indian actor and model who acts in Assamese and Hindi films. He is known for his roles in films such as Mohenjo Daro (2016) and Pathaan (2023). [1]

Early life

Diganta Hazarika was born on 23 September 1984 in Puranigudam, Nagaon, Assam, India.

Career

Hazarika made his acting debut in an Assamese short film, Ki Naam Di Matim. After that he acted in the Assamese films Grahan, Rishang, Rowd and Anuradha . His latest Assamese film was Pratighaat (2019), directed by Achinta Shankar. Hazarika made his Hindi film debut in Mohenjo Daro (2016), where he played the role of Lothar. [2] Before that, he acted in the Indian TV drama Everest , directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.[ citation needed ]

Directed by Glenn Baretto and Ankush Mohla, Everest is created by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker Productions Private Limited (AGPPL). A. R. Rahman composed the music for the telenovela, which is the television debut of both Gowariker and Rahman, as producer and music composer respectively. Everest has been shot in India and Nepal, with shooting locations including the Everest Base Camp and the Dokriani Glacier, which are located at a height of 17,590 feet (5,360 m) and 12,000 feet (3,700 m) above sea level, respectively. The telenovela was shot in extreme conditions and temperatures.
