The Manjung District, formerly Dindings, is a district in the south-western part of the state of Perak, Malaysia. It is administered by the Manjung Municipal Council, formerly known as Manjung District Council from 1 January 1980 until 31 July 2001. The district is well known for Pangkor Island, an attraction in Perak and the home of the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), Lumut Naval Base and dockyard. Dinding was once part of the British Straits Settlements colony. Raja Pemaisuri Bainun Bridge or Sungai Dinding Bridge is the fifth longest river bridge in Malaysia. It is located in Dinding River on Dinding Bypass near Lumut, Manjung district, Perak. The bridge is 1.2 km in length, of which 930 m is over Dinding River. Its 13 arches represent states in Malaysia and is decorated with lights that change from colour to colour.
The Sungai Johor Bridge is an expressway bridge across Johor River on Senai–Desaru Expressway in Johor, Malaysia. The 1.7 km single plane cable stayed bridge connects Pulau Juling in Johor Bahru District in the west to Tanjung Penyabong in Kota Tinggi District in the east. Opened on 10 June 2011, it has the longest central span of any river bridge in Malaysia, followed by Batang Sadong Bridge in Sarawak. The bridge is also the longest single plane cable-stayed bridge in Malaysia.

The Johor River is the main river in the Malaysian state of Johor. The Pulai River is a river in Johor, Malaysia. It runs from Mount Pulai in Kulai District until Tanjung Pelepas, draining into the Tebrau Straits. At its mouth lies the single largest seagrass bed in Malaysia, which extends all the way to Pulau Merambong. Sungai Pulai is also a mangrove forest reserve. The site is being studied to help managing the vast mangrove ecosystem, with assistance from University of Technology Malaysia and the National University of Malaysia, in line with the Integrated Management Plan for the sustainable use of mangroves in Johor.

The South Seberang Perai District is a district in Penang, Malaysia. It covers an area of 242 square kilometres, and had a population of 184,007 at the 2020 Census. Bukit Dinding is a forested hill with published height of 291m in Kuala Lumpur sitting in between Setiawangsa and Wangsa Maju. There are variation of heights in different records where according to Google Earth (2022), the height of Bukit Dinding is 302m, but according to Kuala Lumpur Slope Information System (KULSIS), it is 311m.
