Dino Miguel Castagno (born 8 July 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. [2]
Castagno played for Fundación Pozo del Molle from the age of six, prior to concurrently appearing for Club Deportivo Argentino from 2001. [3] He joined Boca Juniors in 2006, subsequently appearing at the 2012 U-20 Copa Libertadores. [2] [3] [4] In 2012–13, after he was an unused substitute for fixtures with San Lorenzo and Colón, Castagno made his professional debut on 26 May 2013 during a 4–0 loss to Newell's Old Boys; he featured one more time against La Plata's Gimnasia y Esgrima in the succeeding campaign. [2] [5] In January 2015, Castagno joined Guillermo Brown of Primera B Nacional on loan. [6] [7] [8] One appearance came. [2]
In January 2017, Deportivo Español signed Castagno. [2] His first goal came in October 2018 versus Fénix in Primera B Metropolitana. [2] [9] [10] Castagno spent 2019–20 with San Salvador de Jujuy's Gimnasia y Esgrima, though didn't feature in Primera B Nacional prior to being released in June 2020. [11] At the start of 2021, he played five matches for San Martín in Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. [5] In March 2021, Castagno saw a move to Concepción del Uruguay with Gimnasia y Esgrima fall through due to a failed medical. [12]

The 2019–20 Argentine Primera B Nacional, also known as the 2019–20 Primera Nacional, was the 35th season of the Primera B Nacional, the second tier of Argentine football. The season began on 15 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020. Thirty-two teams compete in the league, twenty-one returning from the 2018–19 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División, two teams promoted from Federal A and five from B Metropolitana.
The 2019–20 Copa Argentina was the eleventh edition of the Copa Argentina, and the ninth since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on 15 January 2020 and ended on 8 December 2021. On 17 March 2020, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced the suspension of the tournament to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. After several months the tournament resumed on 23 December 2020.
The 2021 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the ninth season of the Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The competition was contested by 27 of the 31 teams that took part in the 2020 season and four teams promoted from Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. Two teams will be promoted to Primera B Nacional and there was no relegation to Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. The season began on 11 April and ended in December 2021.
The 2022 Copa Argentina was the twelfth edition of the Copa Argentina, and the tenth since the relaunch of the tournament in 2011. The competition began on 23 February and ended on 30 October 2022. Boca Juniors, the defending champions, were eliminated in the semi-finals.
