Dino Mako is a village of the Mirpur Mathelo in Ghotki District, [1] Sindh province, Pakistan.

An uncommon species, it is typically lumped together under the name "mako" with its better-known relative, the shortfin mako shark. The longfin mako is a pelagic species found in moderately deep water, having been reported to a depth of 220 m (720 ft). Growing to a maximum length of 4.3 m (14 ft), the slimmer build and long, broad pectoral fins of this shark suggest that it is a slower and less active swimmer than the shortfin mako.

The Száraz-ér is a right tributary of the river Mureș in Romania and Hungary. It discharges into the Mureș near Makó. It originates in the city of Arad and flows westwards crossing the border into Hungary near the village of Turnu. It flows through the towns Battonya and Tótkomlós before it enters the Mureș east of Makó. The river is entirely channelized and is integrated into the drainage system of the area.

Mako is a major character in Nickelodeon's animated television series The Legend of Korra, which aired from 2012 to 2014. The character and the series, a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender, were created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. He is voiced by David Faustino. Because he is a firebender, Mako is able to create and manipulate the classical element of fire. Mako also has the ability to both generate and redirect lightning. The character is named in honor of the late Mako Iwamatsu who voiced Iroh, a major supporting character, in the first two seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Makó is a district in south-eastern part of Csongrád County. Makó is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Southern Great Plain Statistical Region.

A three-day prison takeover and stand-off took place in 2018 between the Indonesian National Police and inmates convicted of terrorist activities who were imprisoned at the Police's Mobile Brigade Corps's headquarters in Depok, West Java, Indonesia. The inmates took control over one prison block and 6 police officers were taken hostages. As a result of the standoff, five police officers died, with one inmate dead after being shot by the police. Four policemen were also injured in the incident. The Islamic State claimed its fighters were in the standoff. Another policeman was stabbed to death at the headquarters of the elite Mobile Brigade police after the siege by a terrorist who was later shot and killed.

Zach Mako is an American politician who has served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 183rd district since 2017.
