Ditz (often stylised DITZ) are an English rock band that formed in Brighton in 2016. The band consists of Cal Francis (vocals), Caleb Remnant (bass), Anton Mocock (Guitar), Jack Looker (Guitar), Sam Evans (Drums).
The band formed in 2016 in Brighton, [3] [1] with the members being involved in the various music scenes in the city. The original founders, Cal Francis, and Caleb Remnant grew up together in Gloucestershire, and had tried to form bands with limited success. [4] Later that year, Mocock joined the band followed by then drummer Looker, [4] with Evans finalising the lineup in early 2019.
In 2020, the band released their EP, 5 Songs, which included a collection of singles previously released in 2018 to 2019. Around this time, the band signed on to Alcopop! Records. In 2022, they released their debut studio album, The Great Regression, which was met to critical acclaim. [1] [5]
The band has been compared to IDLES, Yak, Daughters and Gilla Band. [6]
Teenage Fanclub are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1989. The group were founded by Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Gerard Love, all of whom shared lead vocals and songwriting duties until Love's departure in 2018. Beartooth is an American rock band founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. Originally Shomo performed every instrument when in the studio, before being joined by a four-piece band. Beartooth has been signed to Red Bull Records since 2013; its debut EP Sick was released on July 26, 2013, followed by the debut full-length album Disgusting on June 10, 2014. Since then, Shomo has released a further three studio albums under the Beartooth moniker: Aggressive (2016), Disease (2018), and Below (2021). The band's fifth studio album, The Surface, was released on October 13, 2023.
Royal Blood are an English rock duo formed in Worthing in 2011. The current lineup consists of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher (drums). Their signature sound is built around Kerr's bass playing style, which sees him using various effects pedals and amps to make his bass guitar sound like an electric guitar and bass guitar at the same time. The duo were signed by Warner Chappell Music in 2013 and have since released four studio albums: Royal Blood (2014), How Did We Get So Dark? (2017), Typhoons (2021), and Back to the Water Below (2023).

The Big Moon are a British indie rock band, formed in 2014 in London by frontwoman Juliette Jackson. Their debut album, Love in the 4th Dimension, was released on 6 April 2017, containing a number of tracks previously released on their EP The Road. The album was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2017. They are signed to Fiction Records and have toured internationally. They supported Pixies on their 2019 UK tour.

Lambrini Girls are an English punk rock group. Formed in Brighton, the band currently comprise Phoebe Lunny and Lilly Macieira. After releasing their debut single in 2021 and signing to Big Scary Monsters by November 2022, they released the EP You're Welcome in May 2023 which received positive critical reception from music publications, though subsequently defended themselves after attracting attention from anti-transgender campaigners. Their 2025 debut album, Who Let the Dogs Out, charted at No. 16 on the UK Albums Chart and received positive reception from multiple outlets.
