The National League is an association football league in England consisting of three divisions, the National League, National League North, and National League South. It was called the "Alliance Premier League" from 1979 until 1986. Between 1986 and 2015, the league was known as the "Football Conference".
The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels, allowing even the smallest club the theoretical possibility of ultimately rising to the very top of the system. There are more than 140 individual leagues, containing more than 480 divisions.
Superettan is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season.
Division 2 is the fourth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 84 Swedish football teams. Division 2 had status as the official second level from 1928 to 1986 but was replaced by Division 1 in 1987. It then had status as the official third level until 2005 but was replaced once again by the recreated Division 1 in 2006.
Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan, which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as Division 1. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. It was reestablished for the 2006 season as the third tier below Superettan.
Division 3 is the fifth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 144 Swedish football teams. Division 3 had status as the official third level from 1928 to 1986, but was replaced by Division 2 in 1987. It then had status as the official fourth level until 2005, but was replaced once again as Division 1 was recreated in 2006.
The K3 League was a South Korean football competition that existed as an amateur league from 2007 to 2019. It was considered as the fourth and fifth tier of the South Korean football league system. It was originally located in the third tier, but it was relegated to the fourth tier after a professional league K League 2 was launched in 2013. In 2017, it was divided into the fourth-tier K3 League Advanced and the fifth-tier K3 League Basic on a system of promotion and relegation. In 2020, the K3 League Advanced/Basic and the semi-professional league Korea National League went defunct, and they will got merged into the new K3 League as third tier. The rest of the former K3 League clubs which could not qualify for the new K3 League were founded in the K4 League. The newly revamped K3 League and K4 League were established for the 2020 season.
The Cypriot Second Division is the second highest football division of the Cypriot football league system. Administrated by the Cyprus Football Association, is contested by 16 teams, with the top two teams promoted to the Cypriot First Division and the last four teams relegated to the Cypriot Third Division.
The Cypriot Third Division is the third tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Each year, the top finishing teams of the league are promoted to the Cypriot Second Division, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to the STOK Elite Division.
The 3. divisjon is the fourth highest division of the men's football league in Norway. Like the rest of the Norwegian football league system, the season runs from spring to autumn, running approximately from April to October. After the 2010 season, the league was reorganised, reducing the number of teams to 164 and halving the number of parallel sections from 24 to 12. After the 2016 season, the league was again reorganised, reducing the number of teams from 164 to 84, and halved the number of groups from twelve to six.
Division 4 is the sixth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 39 sections with 8 to 12 football teams in each.
Division 5 is the seventh level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 47 sections with 9 to 16 football teams in each.
Division 6 is the eighth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 78 sections with 5 to 12 football teams in each.
Division 8 is the tenth and lowest level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 6 sections with 7 to 9 football teams in each. The top team in each Division 8 group is promoted to Division 7 and the second placed teams may also be promoted or participate in the promotion/relegation play-offs.
Hockeyettan is the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden. As of the 2015–16 season, the league consists of 46 teams divided geographically into four groups. Hockeyettan operates a system of promotion and relegation with HockeyAllsvenskan and Division 2.
Hammarby IF Ishockeyförening is an ice hockey club founded as "Bajen Fans IF" in 2008 by supporters of the previous incarnation of Hammarby Hockey which went bankrupt that same year. The club plays in Hockeytvåan, the fourth tier of Swedish men's ice hockey, since the 2021–22 season.
The 2013–14 season of Division 1, the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden, organized by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association (SIHA), began on 11 September 2013. The regular season concluded on 16 February 2014. The following playoffs towards the qualifier to the second-tier league HockeyAllsvenskan began on 19 February 2014 and ended on 7 March 2014. The qualifiers to Division 1 began on 2 March 2014 and ended on 26 March 2014. The qualifier to HockeyAllsvenskan began on 13 March 2014 and ended on 5 April 2014. The 2013–14 season was the last season the league was named "Division 1"; in April 2014, the league was renamed "Hockeyettan".
The 2014–15 Hockeyettan season was the 16th season that Hockeyettan has functioned as the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden, organized by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association (SIHA). The initial groups began on 21 September 2014 and ended on 10 December 2014. The following Allettan groups and continuation groups started on 27 December 2014 and finished on 15 February 2015. The promotion playoffs to the HockeyAllsvenskan qualifier began on 19 February 2015 and ended on 6–7 March 2015. The Hockeyettan qualifiers began on 1 March 2015 and ended on 25 March 2015. The HockeyAllsvenskan qualifier began on 12 March 2015 and ended on 4 April 2015.
