The Djibouti national handball team is the national handball team of Djibouti. [1]
The European Women's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national handball teams of Europe, and takes place every two years. In addition to crowning the European champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games and World Championship. As of December 2018, the only teams that have ever won the championship are Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Montenegro and France (once).

The Tunisian national handball team, nicknamed Les Aigles de Carthage , is the national handball team of Tunisia. It is governed by the Tunisian Handball Federation and takes part in international handball competitions.

Kuwait has enjoyed great handball success at both the national and club level. The sport is widely considered to be the national icon of Kuwait, although football is more popular among the overall population. Kuwait's golden decade existed from the late 1990s to the late 2000s. Kuwait is also the founding member of the Asian Handball Federation, the Asian Championship and Club Champions League.

Djibouti has participated in eight Summer Olympic Games as of the completion of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. They have never competed in the Winter Olympic Games. Djibouti debuted at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States of America with three athletes, but did not take home a medal. The highest number of Djiboutian athletes participating in a summer Games is eight in the 1992 games in Barcelona, Spain. Only one Djiboutian athlete has ever won a medal at the Olympics, marathon runner Hussein Ahmed Salah, who won a bronze medal in the 1988 marathon.

The South Korea women's national handball team is the national team of South Korea. Since 1984 the Korean team has not only participated constantly in Olympic Games but also ranked among the top four nations every time. Korea grabbed the gold medal in 1988 and 1992, won the silver medal in 1984, 1996, 2004 and took bronze medal in 2008. They have earned two World Championship medals so far: In 1995, they also won the World Championship title in Austria/Hungary 1995 World Women's Handball Championship, they came off third to secure the bronze medal at the Croatia in 2003 World Women's Handball Championship. It is a twelve time Asian Champion, the tournament has been won by any other nation only twice.

Two years later, at the 2012 European Women's Handball Championship, they managed the same results.

Aïcha Garad Ali is a Djiboutian member of the International Olympic Committee since 2012. Garad Ali is the incumbent president of the Djibouti National Olympic Committee as of 2005 and was the vice president of the Djibouti Handball Federation from 1987 to 1993.

The Chinese Taipei national handball team is the national team of Chinese Taipei. It is governed by the Chinese Taipei Handball Association and takes part in international handball competitions. It has competed in the Asian Men's Handball Championship six times, most recently in 2000.
