Dock 1A is a newly revitalised mall and car park establishment located at 1A Chui Tong Road, Sai Kung, Hong Kong. The venue is situated a short distance from the Sai Kung Town Centre and Public Piers. Previously underutilised, the building has been renovated into Dock 1A and is undergoing a possibly major transformation under Smart Glory Management, to become the first ‘mega’ shopping centre in Sai Kung. [1]
Dock 1A shall be the first ‘mega’ shopping centre and parking facility in the Sai Kung district, soon-to-be featuring a wide range of shops, dining, and entertainment options, including coffee shops, a fitness centre, a supermarket, and stores for children’s entertainment and pet supplies. [2] Dock 1A is connected to a footbridge spanning Hiram’s Highway, providing easy access to the other pavement for locals. It is, however, unclear how the new Hiram’s Highway development plan shall affect it.
Dock 1A was opened on 2002 on reclaimed land under its original name ‘Centro’. It soon was home to a supermarket named Fusion and a colourful, Polynesian-themed bowling alley and bar ‘TikiTiki’. The latter was sadly closed on the 5th of June, 2024. [3] Centro was sold to Smart Glory Management Limited for roughly $500 million late 2022 (citation needed). Renovation works began mid 2023, seeking to give the interior a more sophisticated, inviting aesthetic. Exterior decoration work began later that year; new colours painted and a scale pattern stencilled to the front. Work is expected to finish end of January 2025

Hopewell Centre is a 222-metre (728-foot), 64-storey skyscraper at 183 Queen's Road East, in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. The tower is the first circular skyscraper in Hong Kong. It is named after Hong Kong–listed property firm Hopewell Holdings Limited, which constructed the building. Hopewell Holdings Limited's headquarters are in the building and its chief executive officer, Gordon Wu, has his office on the top floor.
Sai Kung District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The district comprises the southern half of the Sai Kung Peninsula, the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the New Territories and a strip of land to the east of Kowloon. Shau Kei Wan or Shaukiwan is a neighborhood in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island. The area is bordered by Chai Wan to the east, Mount Parker to the south, Sai Wan Ho to the west, and Victoria Harbour to the north.
Tung Chung, meaning "eastern stream", is an area on the northwestern coast of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Mikiki is a shopping centre in San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki is directly connected to The Latitude, a private housing estate that was also developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki does not have a Chinese name, and its English name is based on the Japanese word for "knowledge". Mikiki covers an area of 200,000 square feet and has been opened to the general public since July 2011. Its official opening date was on 30 October that year. The mall is managed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and Hong Yip Service Co Ltd.
Les Saisons is a private estate in Hong Kong. Located in Sai Wan Ho of the Eastern District, Hong Kong Island, the property was co-developed by Swire Properties, China Motor Bus and Sun Hung Kai Properties. The estate was completed in October 2001. There is a total of 4 residential buildings with 866 car park spaces provided. More than half of the flats enjoy the sea view of Lei Yue Mun Strait.
