Cape Town is one of South Africa's three capital cities, serving as the seat of the Parliament of South Africa. It is the legislative capital of the country, along with judicial capital Bloemfontein and administrative capital Pretoria. It is the oldest and second largest city in the country, after Johannesburg. Colloquially named the Mother City, it is the largest city of the Western Cape province and forms part of the City of Cape Town metropolitan municipality. The Parliament of South Africa is situated in Cape Town. The other two capitals are located in Gauteng and in the Free State.
Maastricht is a city and a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands. It is the capital and largest city of the province of Limburg. It has a population of more than 40.000 people from various backgrounds. The municipality has several facilities such as a high school, public library, swimming pool, and a well connected public bus transport system.
