Dothan is a city in and the county seat of Houston County in the U.S. state of Alabama. A slight portion of the city extends into Dale and Henry counties. It is Alabama's eighth-largest city, with a population of 71,072 at the 2020 census, and the 5th largest in Alabama by total Area. It is near the state's southeastern corner, about 20 miles (32 km) west of Georgia and 16 miles (26 km) north of Florida. It is named after the biblical city where Joseph's brothers threw him into a cistern and sold him into slavery in Egypt.

State Road 579 is a 0.5-mile (0.80 km) stretch of Fletcher Avenue between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue in Tampa, Florida. Similar to SR 678 to the north, it exists to connect U.S. Route 41, Interstate 275, and US 41 Business. Despite its odd-numbered Florida Department of Transportation designation, SR 579 is signed east–west.
Florida State Road 817 (SR 817) is a 25.691-mile-long (41.346 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Florida, locally known as Northwest 27th Avenue in Miami-Dade County and University Drive in Broward County. Its southern terminus is an intersection in Opa-locka with SR 9, which continues south along Northwest 27th Avenue to Dixie Highway in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami. Its northern terminus is at State Road 834 in Coral Springs, though the right of way continues north to Loxahatchee Road at the Palm Beach County line.
Florida's 14th congressional district is an electoral district for the U.S. Congress and includes western Hillsborough County and southeastern Pinellas County, including most of Tampa. In the 2020 redistricting cycle, the district was redrawn to include almost all areas in both counties which faces Tampa Bay, while northeastern Tampa and its neighbouring suburbs are redistricted into the 15th district. The 14th district also includes MacDill Air Force Base and Tampa International Airport.
Joseph Norton Dolph was an American politician and attorney in the state of Oregon. A native of the state of New York, he immigrated to Oregon over the Oregon Trail and settled in Portland where he became the state's federal district attorney. A Republican, he spent nine years in the Oregon State Senate before serving in the United States Senate from 1883 to 1895.
Florida's 11th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Florida. It includes Sumter County, home to The Villages, and parts of Lake, Orange, and Polk counties. In the 2020 redistricting cycle, the district was moved out of its coastal counties and into Orlando's western suburbs.
