Dominic Cozzolino (born August 23, 1994) [1] is a Canadian ice sledge hockey player.
Cozzolino was a member of the silver medal-winning Canadian team of Para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics. His role was singled out by Gagan Sikand at Parliament. [2] Cozzolino is a resident of Mississauga. [3] His disability was caused by a spinal fracture while playing able-bodied ice hockey.[ citation needed ]
Canada was the host country of the 2010 Winter Paralympics, in Vancouver, the first time it had hosted the Winter Paralympics.
Todd Nicholson, is a Canadian former ice sledge hockey player. He was a member of the 2010 Paralympic Sledge Ice Hockey team, which were the fourth Paralympic games that Nicholson participated in. He announced his retirement from the Canadian ice sledge hockey team on September 7, 2010. Nicholson now serves on the International Paralympic Committee Governing Board as the Athletes' Representative.
