Dominic "Dom" Evans (born 22 April 1970) is a British auto racing driver. He currently competes in the British GT Championship, driving for Blendini Motorsport in a GT3-class Audi R8 LMS.

Career

Early career

Born in Cardiff, [1] Evans competed in the Britcar championship in 2008, driving for XL Race Parts in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. He was partnered by three different drivers in the three races he entered: Roberts at Silverstone, Steve Bell at the first Brands Hatch round (where he got his best result, 17th, in the second race), and Mark Coleing at the second Brands Hatch round. [2] In 2011, Evans won the Welsh Sports & Saloon Championship. [3]

British GT

Evans first appeared in the British GT Championship in 2012, driving alongside fellow debutant Zoë Wenham for Century Motorsport in a GT4-class Ginetta G50. [3] Having missed the first round due to licensing issues (with his seat being filled by Ginetta's Mark Simpson), [4] Evans made his debut at the second round of the season, held at the Nürburgring GP circuit. [5] He and Wenham finished third in the first race, [6] and second in race two, in what proved to be a successful debut event for Evans. [7] The season would prove to be a successful one; although a victory eluded the pairing of Evans and Wenham, Wenham was still competing for the title with two races to go (with Evans competing for the runner-up spot, as he had missed the first two races.) [8] Following that event, however, Evans had to settle for third place, the title being won by Team WFR and their driver pairing of Jody Fannin and Warren Hughes. [9]

For 2013, Evans moved into the GT3 category, now driving for Blendini Motorsport, alongside team boss Tom Roche in an Audi R8 LMS. [10] It would not prove to be a successful GT3 debut for him, as he and Roche were only able to finish 18th overall in both races. [11] [12] He competed in four more races during the season, but did not score any points. [13]

Personal life

Evans has a son, Josh, whom competes in the Mazda MX5 Championship. [14]

Warren Hughes is a racing driver from Newcastle, England. He has raced in a variety of different series, most notably the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), the FIA GT1 World Championship, the Le Mans Series, the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He won the LMP2 category of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2005, driving for RML Group alongside Tommy Erdos and Mike Newton.

Nathan Freke is a racing driver. He was the 2006 British Formula Ford Champion. Freke has held four British Kart Racing Championship Titles and in 2005 became the only driver ever to win an FIA/CIK Superkart Race in a Division 2 Kart against Division 1 Karts,.

Sam Tordoff British racing car driver

Samuel Lewis "Sam" Tordoff is a British racing car driver. He has previously driven in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB but currently competes in the British Touring Car Championship for AmD Essex. He is the grandson of rally driver and car dealer Jack Tordoff. Tordoff finished second overall in the 2016 British Touring Car Championship, 2 points behind Gordon Shedden. Tordoff supports his racing career with his day-to-day job as an accountant.

Tony Hughes (racing driver) British businessman and racing driver.

Tony Hughes is a British businessman and former auto racing driver. He is the managing director of Hughes Safety Showers and drove for Speedworks Motorsport in the British Touring Car Championship in 2011 and 2012.

The season began on 9 April at Oulton Park and finished on 30 September at Donington Park, after ten rounds held over seven meetings. Motorbase Performance drivers Michael Caine and Daniele Perfetti won the GT3 category in a Porsche 997 GT3-R, Team WFR's Jody Fanin and Warren Hughes won the GT4 championship driving a Ginetta G50, while Ryan Hooker and Gary Eastwood took the GTC title in a Ferrari 458 Challenge driving for FF Corse.

Adam Morgan (racing driver) British Touring Car Championship driver

Adam William Morgan is a British auto racing driver. He currently drives in the British Touring Car Championship.

The 2013 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 21st season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 30 March at Oulton Park and finished on 6 October at Donington Park, after ten rounds held over seven meetings. Beechdean Motorsport team principal Andrew Howard won the GT3 category in an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, Optimum Motorsport's Ryan Ratcliffe and Rick Parfitt, Jr. won the GT4 championship, driving a Ginetta G50 while Paul Bailey and Andy Schulz took the GTC title in a Ferrari 458 Challenge, driving for Horsepower Racing.

Pepe Massot racecar driver

Pepe Massot is a Spanish racing driver from Barcelona, Spain currently competing in the 2016 Porsche Supercup driving for Momo Megatron Team. In 2015 Pepe drives for Küs Team75 Bernhard.

Jody Fannin is a British auto racing driver. He competed in the European Le Mans Series in 2017, winning the GTE Championship with Rob Smith driving for JMW Motorsport in a Ferrari 488 GTE. He was the 2012 British GT GT4-class champion, along with Warren Hughes, driving for Team WFR in a Ginetta G50.

Zoë Claire Wenham is a British auto racing driver.

Jody Firth is a British racing driver, who most recently competed in the British GT Championship.

Sarah Moore is an English female racing driver. She is most notable for winning the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2009, and for competing in the InterSteps Championship in 2011. She was awarded the Rising Star status by the British Racing Drivers' Club in 2009. Moore was the first female racing driver to win a TOCA-sanctioned race, and the first to win a junior mixed-gender, national-level series in the UK and also the first female to have won the Britcar Endurance Championship.

Hunter Abbott is a British racing driver and business man. He has raced sportscars, GT cars and Touring Cars and was 2017 Blancpain GT Series Asia Champion. In 2019 he is driving in VLN for Walkenhorst Motorsport, driving the Total sponsored BMW M6 GT3.
