"Don't Be Shy" is a song by Canadian rapper Belly. It's the second single from his debut album The Revolution (2007). The song features R&B girl group Nina Sky who sing the chorus.
Directed by Dan the Man,the video features Belly and Nina Sky performing behind backgrounds of various colors. There are appearances of female dancers in black and gold attire,various automobiles,a jaguar and a tiger that Belly has on a gold chain.
The song debut at number 62 on the week of June 16,2007. A week later,it hit a new peak at number 45. It stayed on the chart for an additional nine weeks. [1]

It debuted at number 44 on the US Billboard 200 and sold 341,000 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan. The lead single "Move Ya Body" received a Gold Certification from Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The second single was "Turnin' Me On",but did not match the success of "Move Ya Body".

Ahmad Balshe,known professionally as Belly,is a Palestinian-Canadian rapper,singer,songwriter,and record producer. Born in Jenin in the Palestinian West Bank,and raised in Ottawa,Balshe embarked on a career as a musician when he was sixteen years old by playing drums in various Ottawa punk bands. At twenty-one years old,he moved on to his main love hip-hop with the release of his debut mixtape,Death Before Dishonor:Vol. 1. He then released eight additional projects in a span of six years,including his debut studio album The Revolution (2007),as well as two collaborative mixtapes,The Lost Tapes and The Greatest Dream I Never Had,with Kurupt and DJ Drama,respectively.
