"Don't Know What to Do" is an electro pop/rock track by New Zealand singer Dane Rumble. It is the second single taken from Rumble's debut solo album, The Experiment . The track was released as a digital single in February 2009. [1] [2]
Rumble says the song is about his love/hate relationship with music. "I've experienced so many ups and downs in this game... and I still can't stop." [3] Dane once again worked with Ivan Slavov for the music video, who had already directed the video for "Always Be Here". The song was sent to Australian contemporary hit radio on 29 November 2010. [4]
"Don't Know What to Do" debuted on the New Zealand Singles Chart on 27 July 2009 at #36. The song has so far peaked at number 10, becoming Rumble's second consecutive top 20 single as a solo artist and his first top ten hit. [5]
"Don't Know What to Do" also debuted on the Top 40 the same week Dane's previous single "Always Be Here" drops out of the Top 40. [6]
On 31 January 2010, "Don't Know What to Do" was certified Gold with sales of over 7,500 in New Zealand.

Fergie Duhamel is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She first achieved chart success as part of the hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas. Her debut solo album, The Dutchess (2006), saw commercial success and spawned three Billboard Hot 100 number one singles: "London Bridge", "Glamorous", and "Big Girls Don't Cry". Although she vocally incorporates rapping into some of her performances, she does not consider herself a rapper.
Rogue Traders is an Australian electronic rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2002 by mainstay James Ash on keyboards. In 1989, Ash met fellow original member Steve Davis in London while both were working as DJs. Before forming Rogue Traders, the pair had worked together on many projects, including the dance music act Union State, which relocated to Melbourne in 1992. The group's name comes from the 1999 drama film, Rogue Trader. They were joined in 2004 by soap opera actress, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, on lead vocals, Cameron McGlinchey on drums and Tim Henwood on guitar. Davis continued as a behind-the-scenes member, contributing to the songwriting process but not making any public appearances with the group.

The Experiment is the first solo studio album by New Zealand singer-songwriter Dane Rumble. Released by Rumble Music and Warner Music on 29 March 2010, it follows two years after the split of his hip hop group Fast Crew. Rumble found it difficult to write music for himself, and therefore deviated to the pop rock genre. The Experiment includes elements of dance-pop and pop rap, and lyrically focusses on personal issues. Rumble produced the album with Jonathan Campbell. In July 2010 Rumble embarked on The Edge Winter Jam: The Experiment Tour, which had him perform in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
