Ronald Jack Mix is an American former professional football offensive tackle. He is a member of the American Football League All-Time Team, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979. Mix played college football for the USC Trojans, where he was named to the All American team. He played at right tackle and guard for the Los Angeles / San Diego Chargers of the American Football League (AFL) and also played for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). An eight-time AFL All-Star (1961–1968) and a nine-time All-AFL (1960–1968) selection, he is also a member of the Los Angeles Chargers Hall of Fame.
Bernie Faloney was a professional football player in the Canadian Football League and an outstanding American college football player at the University of Maryland. Born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Faloney is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, the Western Pennsylvania Hall of Fame, and the University of Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame. Faloney's jersey #10 was retired by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1999. In 2005, Faloney was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame. In 2006, Faloney was voted to the Honour Roll of the CFL's Top 50 Players of the league's modern era by Canadian sports network TSN.
Dwight Eugene Stephenson is an American former professional football player who was a center for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL) from 1980 to 1987. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Stephenson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998.
Larry Chatmon Little is an American former professional football player who was an offensive guard in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Bethune–Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 1967. After two years in San Diego, he was then traded to the Miami Dolphins where he played for the rest of his career, establishing himself as one of the best offensive guards in the NFL.
Melvin Cornell Blount is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) for fourteen seasons. A five-time Pro Bowler, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
The 1983 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1983, at the New York Sheraton Hotel in New York City, New York. No teams elected to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year.
Cedric A. Scott is an American football strength and conditioning coach and former defensive end who is the head strength and conditioning coach for Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). Scott played college football at the University of Southern Mississippi and was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He also played for the Cleveland Browns, as well as in NFL Europa for the Scottish Claymores and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Kyle Rote Jr. is an American former professional soccer forward who played seven seasons in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and earned five caps with the United States men's national soccer team between 1973 and 1975. He led the NASL in scoring in 1973. He later coached the Memphis Americans of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Lewis Pate "Bud" McFadin was an American football player and coach. He played college football at the University of Texas and was a unanimous selection at the guard position on the 1950 College Football All-America Team. He played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams (1952–1956) and in the American Football League (AFL) for the Denver Broncos (1960–1963) and Houston Oilers (1964–1965). A versatile player, he played tackle and linebacker on defense, as well as guard on offense. He was a Pro Bowl pick in 1955 and 1956, a Sporting News All-AFL defensive tackle in 1960, 1961 and 1962, and an American Football League West Division All-Star in 1963.

Michael Montgomery Haddix is a former professional American football running back for eight seasons in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. Philadelphia drafted Haddix in the first round of the 1983 draft, primarily due to his 4.5 speed. Haddix played eight seasons in the NFL and holds the dubious distinction of having averaged the fewest average yards per carry (3.0) for a player with more than 500 carries in the NFL. He was inducted to the Mississippi State Hall of Fame in 2019.

John B. Corker is a former American football linebacker who played four seasons in the National Football League, mainly for the Houston Oilers, and eight seasons in the Arena Football League. In 2002, Corker was elected into the Arena Football League Hall of Fame.

Calvin Eugene Sweeney is a former professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He won Super Bowl XIV with the team over the Los Angeles Rams. He played football at Perris High in Perris, CA before playing college football at the University of Southern California. He is noted for having caught the last pass thrown by Steelers Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw for a touchdown on December 10, 1983.
Dan Ferrone is a former professional Canadian football player. He played with the Toronto Argonauts for 8 seasons, interrupted by one season with the Calgary Stampeders, in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Carver Beauregard Shannon was an American and Canadian football player who played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He won the Grey Cup with Winnipeg in 1959 and 1961. He played college football in Carbondale, Illinois with Southern Illinois University where he was nominated for the 1958 All-American team. Shannon was also drafted into the National Football League (NFL) in the 1959 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Rams from 1962 to 1964, following his career in Canadian football. After his time with the Rams he went to play for the Chicago Bears where he sustained a knee injury and retired from professional football. From 1983 through 1985 Shannon was a line judge in the NFL, wearing uniform number 56. He is a member of the Southern Illinois University Sport Hall of Fame, inducted in 1978. He later worked in the aerospace industry following his sports career and lives in Los Angeles.
