Rodney "Don Vito" Richard (born July 9, 1978) is an American record producer. He is best known as the producer who collaborated with Kandi Burruss on projects portrayed on The Real Housewives of Atlanta , including Kim Zolciak's breakout single "Tardy for the Party". He also worked as a judge on The Kandi Factory airing on Bravo, and as executive producer for Burruss' weekly webisode series Kandi Koated Nights.
Don Vito was born on July 9, 1978, in Gary, Indiana to Louis and Juanita Richard. While in high school, he learned the art of DJing and would perform at school dances and local house parties. After being discharged from the Marine Corps, Vito moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
On August 21, 2013, Don Vito and his girlfriend, LaTavia Roberson, formerly of Destiny's Child, welcomed a daughter named Lyric. [1] [2] The pair welcomed son Londyn on September 23, 2019. [3]
Vito was introduced to record producer, DJ Cooley C, who gave him the opportunity to work with hip hop artists Ghetto Mafia and Kilo. He later met Ian Burke who introduced him to rapper Solé, signed to RedZone Entertainment. Tricky Stewart then signed him to Redzone, and he started working with Solé and artists such as Mya and Blu Cantrell. Less than four years later, Don Vito ventured out with R&B group Cherish. In 2005, he launched Don Vito Productions, a music and video production company.

Kandi Burruss, is an American producer, television personality, singer, songwriter and actress. She first gained notice in 1992 as a member of the female vocal group Xscape. As a songwriter, she has received writing credits on the singles "Bills, Bills, Bills" by Destiny's Child, "There You Go" by P!nk, "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" by Ariana Grande, and "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran. In 2000, she won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for her work on the TLC hit song "No Scrubs".
LaTavia Marie Roberson is an American R&B singer. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as an original member of the R&B group Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. During her time as a member, Roberson recorded two studio albums, sold over 25 million records and won two Grammy Awards and three Soul Train Music Awards.
The Writing's on the Wall is the second studio album by American girl group Destiny's Child. It was released on July 14, 1999, by Columbia Records. Seeking transition from the neo soul sound of their eponymous studio album (1998), Destiny's Child enlisted an almost entirely different array, including Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs, Kandi Burruss, Missy Elliott, Rodney Jerkins, and LaShawn Daniels, among others. Lyrically, the album is constructed as a concept album, with each track representing a Ten Commandments-inspired "Commandment of Relationships". Its themes include infatuation, dependency, infidelity, and separation, while a loose religious theme is maintained throughout the album.
Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs is an American record producer, known for producing the TLC #1 hit "No Scrubs" and various Destiny's Child songs from the album The Writing's on the Wall. Briggs' then girlfriend, former Xscape singer Kandi Burruss, composed the lyrics of TLC's "No Scrubs", Destiny's Child hits "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Bug a Boo", and Pink's debut single "There You Go" to accompany his productions. Briggs' post-2001 productions saw a new sound from Briggs, as can be heard on the tracks he produced for Whitney Houston and Blu Cantrell.
