Donald Friske (born November 9, 1961) is an American politician and businessman who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2001 to 2011.
Born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, Friske graduated from the Tomahawk High School and served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1985. [1]
Friske served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from January 3, 2001 through January 2, 2011. [2] [3] In March 2010, Friske announced his retirement from the State Assembly, and was succeeded by Tom Tiffany. [4] [5] Friske now operates Carquest AutoParts franchises in Merrill and Tomahawk, Wisconsin. He had previously worked as a deputy sheriff.
Friske also served as Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
He lives in Merrill, Wisconsin. Friske is married and has three children. [6]

Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 28,867. Its county seat is Merrill. The county was created in 1875 and named after President Abraham Lincoln.

The population was 9,661, according to the 2010 census. Merrill is part of the United States Census Bureau's Merrill MSA, which includes all of Lincoln County. James Edward Doyle, Jr., is an American attorney and politician who served as the 44th Governor of Wisconsin, serving from January 6, 2003 to January 3, 2011. In his first election to the governorship, he defeated incumbent Governor Scott McCallum by a margin of 45 percent to 41 percent; the Libertarian Party candidate Ed Thompson won 10 percent of the vote. Although in 2002 Democrats increased their number of governorships, Doyle was the only one of them to unseat a Republican. Doyle also served as Wisconsin’s Attorney General for 12 years before becoming Governor. He is currently an attorney 'of counsel' in the Madison, Wisconsin office of the law firm of Foley & Lardner and serves on the corporate board of Epic Systems.
Robert W. Wirch is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the 22nd district since 1997. He previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1993 through 1997.
St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (SJNMA) was founded in 1884 as St. John's Military Academy (SJMA) in Delafield, Wisconsin, by Rev. Sidney T. Smythe as a private, college preparatory school. In 1995, Northwestern Military and Naval Academy (NMNA) in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, merged with St. John's Military Academy to become St. John's Northwestern Military Academy on the Delafield campus. And, in 2020, a Leadership Academy was added and we became St. John's Northwestern Academies. SJNA is a coed independent boarding and day school for boys and girls in grades 7–12. Sean Duffy, the incumbent representative, announced his resignation effective September 23, 2019, as his wife was about to give birth to a child with a heart condition. Governor Tony Evers chose January 27, 2020, as the date for the special election, with the primaries scheduled for December 30, 2019. However, upon being informed by the Department of Justice of the date being in violation of federal law, since it would provide insufficient time for overseas and military voters to receive ballots, Governor Evers rescheduled the primaries for February 18, 2020, and the general election for May 12, 2020.
Calvin Callahan is an American politician serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from the 35th assembly district. His district comprises Lincoln County, western Langlade County, and neighboring towns in Marathon, Oneida, and Shawano counties. He also serves as a member of the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors, first elected in 2018, and a supervisor of the town of Wilson.
