Donna Jane Hope (Bauer) OAM (born 4 October 1970) [1] is an Australian politician who represented the Liberal Party as the member for Carrum in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 2010 to 2014,having previously served as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Kingston.
Hope obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from RMIT and was previously employed as a Corporate Communications Consultant at the City of Greater Dandenong. [2] She is a bowel cancer survivor and current ambassador for Bowel Cancer Australia, [3] former ambassador for Bully Zero Australia Foundation,and former board member of Frankston Business Network. [4]
Hope entered Parliament after defeating Jenny Lindell in the 2010 state election. [5]
While in Parliament,Hope walked the Kokoda trail in July 2013,raising money for charities,Matt's Place and Pantry 5000. [6]
Hope narrowly lost the electorate of Carrum in the 2014 Victorian state election to Labor's Sonya Kilkenny [7] and unsuccessfully contested the same division in the 2018 Victorian state election. [8]
Hope made several further attempts to re-enter parliament,losing Liberal Party preselection ballots to be the party’s candidate for the federal seat of Dunkley in 2016, [9] 2022 [10] 2024, [11] and 2025 [12] ,as well as being unsuccessful in gaining nomination as a Liberal upper house candidate in the 2022 Victorian state election.
Since departing Parliament,Hope has worked variously as an airline hostess [13] and an electorate officer for Member for Mornington Chris Crewther. [14]
Bauer was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours for "service to the people and Parliament of Victoria,and to bowel cancer awareness". [15]
The Mornington Peninsula Freeway is a freeway in Melbourne,Victoria,Australia,that provides a link from south-eastern suburban Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula. Whilst the entire freeway from Dingley Village to Rosebud is declared by VicRoads as the Mornington Peninsula Freeway,the section between EastLink in Carrum Downs and Moorooduc Highway in Moorooduc is locally and commonly known as Peninsula Link. The entire freeway corridor bears the designation M11.

It covers an area of approximately 152 square kilometres (59 sq mi) from Seaford in the north to Mount Eliza in the south and Langwarrin South in the southeast.
