Doris Francis (born 6 October 1969) is a Dominican former cricketer who played primarily as a right-arm medium bowler. [1] She appeared in one Test match and 17 One Day Internationals for the West Indies between in 2003 and 2004. [2] She also played for the United States between 2009 and 2011. She played domestic cricket for Dominica and Saint Lucia. [3]
She made her List A debut for Dominica against Trinidad and Tobago on 20 May 1996 in Caribbean Women's Cricket Federation Championships. [4] Later she List A debut for Saint Lucia against Jamaica on 20 June 2003. [5]
She also featured for New York Warriors and Tristate Lynx in 2010 and 2013 respectively in US Open Women’s T20 cricket. [6] [7]
Francis made her One Day International (ODI) debut on 13 March 2003,in a series against Sri Lanka. [8] Later in the year,she also featured in the 2003 IWCC Trophy. [9] She made her Test debut against Pakistan on 15 March 2004. In the second innings of the Test,she made unbeaten 46 from ninth in the batting order,putting on 105 runs for the eighth wicket with Jacqueline Robinson. [10]
She continued playing cricket after moving to the United States,and made her debut for the US national team at the 2009 ICC Women's Americas Championship. [11] She was one of three former West Indies internationals in the side,the others being Candacy Atkins and Roselyn Emmanuel. [12] In the first match of the tournament,against Brazil,Francis took 2/9 and scored 10*,for which she was named player of the match. [13] She returned for the tournament's 2010 ICC Women's Americas Championship,taking 3/16 against Canada. [14] [15]
In 2011,she won the best bowler and Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in USACA Women's tournament. [16] In the following year she appointed as captain of United States women's cricket team in 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. [17] She made her international (List A) debut for United States against South Africa on 15 November 2011 in that tournament. [18] Francis made her final international appearances at the 2011 World Cup Qualifier. [19] [20]

Stafanie Roxann Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who is a former captain of the West Indies women's cricket team. She has represented them over 250 times since her debut in 2008. A right-handed batter and off break bowler,Taylor was selected as the 2011 ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year –the first West Indian to receive the accolade. The 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November and December 2021. The tournament was the final part of the qualification process for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. All of the regional qualification tournaments used the Women's Twenty20 International format. The tournament was the fifth edition of the World Cup Qualifier,with the fixtures played as 50 overs matches. Originally,the top three teams from the qualifier would have progressed to the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. The top three teams,along with the next two best placed teams,also qualified for the next cycle of the ICC Women's Championship.

She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for the West Indies,also against Australia,on 14 September 2019. In January 2020,she was named in West Indies' squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia. In May 2021,Grimmond was awarded with a central contract from Cricket West Indies.
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup,a biennial Twenty20 International (T20I) tournament contested by men's national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States from 1 to 29 June 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States,and in any other country in the Americas outside the West Indies. England is the defending champion,having defeated Pakistan in the final of the previous edition.
The 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship is the third edition of the ICC Women's Championship,a One Day International (ODI) cricket competition that is being contested by ten teams,to determine qualification for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup. The top five teams,along with the hosts India,will qualify directly for the World Cup. The bottom four teams of this tournament and the top two teams from the ICC ODI rankings will progress to a Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. Each team will play a total of eight three-match series,with four of them played at home,and four played away.
