Downtown Macon refers to the largest financial district in the city of Macon, Georgia, United States. It is home to many museums, ranging from the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame to the Tubman African American Museum. Numerous Antebellum homes are located in Downtown Macon, including the Woodruff House, the Hay House, and the Cannonball House. One of the most notable churches in downtown Macon is Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, the oldest Methodist Church in the state of Georgia. [1] Terminal Station, was built in 1916. [2]

The biggest tourist attraction in downtown Macon is the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, but there are also many other smaller attractions, such as the many museums (mentioned above), and also small parades for holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The International Cherry Blossom Festival is held in Macon, Georgia every spring. Macon, known as the "Cherry Blossom Capital of the World," has around 300,000–350,000 Yoshino Cherry Trees that bloom around the city in late March every year since 1982, except 2020 when it was cancelled. The festival lasts for ten days and features events for people of all ages. The festival is not associated with the National Cherry Blossom Festival held in Washington, D.C.

Terminal Station was the larger of two principal train stations in downtown Atlanta, Union Station being the other. Central of Georgia Depot and Trainshed is a former passenger depot and trainshed constructed in 1860 by the Central of Georgia Railway (CofG) before the outbreak of the American Civil War. The Four Corners Historic District is the intersection of Broad and Market streets in Newark, New Jersey. It is the site of the city's earliest settlement and the heart of Downtown Newark that at one time was considered the busiest intersection in the United States. The area that radiates 22 square blocks from the crossroads is a state and federal historic district. Today, no Vehicle Traffic is allowed to turn at Broad and Market. Traffic heading from towards the County Courthouse towards the Intersection trying to head Southbound on Broad Street should turn Right on University Avenue, then a left on Brandford Pl. If your trying to go Northbound on Broad St, make a left on Washington St then right on Raymond. All Broad St. Traffic heading from towards Broad St. Station trying to access Market St. Eastbound traffic should take a Left on Park Pl, then right on Mulberry St. down to Market St, Same would go with Westbound Traffic, or right on Raymond Ave, then left on University.

Terminal Station, Macon, Georgia, is a railroad station that was built in 1916, and is located on 5th St. at the end of Cherry St. It was designed in the Beaux-Arts style by architect Alfred T. Fellheimer (1875–1959), prominent for his design of Grand Central Terminal in New York City in 1903. The station building is part of the Macon Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While no longer an active train station, it has been the location of the Macon Transit Authority bus hub since 2014.
The architecture of Jacksonville is a combination of historic and modern styles reflecting the city's early position as a regional center of business. According to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, there are more buildings built before 1967 in Jacksonville than any other city in Florida, but it is also important to note that few structures in the city center predate the Great Fire of 1901.
