Dr. Palpu College of Arts and Science, managed by Sree Narayana Trust, Vamanapuram, is a college in Pangode, Trivandrum district, Kerala, India. [1] It was launched as a self-financing college affiliated to the University of Kerala in 2014.

The college is named after Dr. Padmanabhan Palpu, a social reformer inspired by the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru. It aims to providing quality education without discrimination of any sort — caste, creed or social standing — and to bring education to the remote village of Pangode. The college has laboratories, a library, a girls' hostel, sports facilities, etc.

Padmanabhan Palpu LMS, DPH (Cantab) FRIPH (London) was the second public health doctor in Travancore and a social revolutionary who become the chief medical officer of Mysore State. The anthropologist Ritty Lukose describes him as the "political father" of the Ezhavas, who are numerically the largest caste in the region now encompassed by the state of Kerala. In 1903, he founded the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam, whose first president was Narayana Guru, who sought an end to the caste system and preached his concept of "one caste, one religion, one god."

The Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (S.N.D.P) is a social service organization that has been representing the Ezhava community from the Indian state of Kerala since 1903. The S.N.D.P Yogam was founded by Dr.Padmanabhan Palpu and other Ezhava leaders with the blessing of Sree Narayana Guru. The organization aimed to lead the community to the religious reform movement and to achieve economic prosperity and educational opportunities. The organization has also been playing a significant role in the Kerala social and political movements since its formation.

Pangode is an Indian village and a Grama Panchayat located in the Trivandrum district in the state of Kerala. The village is known for its participation in the Indian Independence Movement, through the Kallara-Pangode Struggle. It is situated in the foothills of Western Ghats.

Changaramkumarath Krishnan Vakkeel was a community leader, banker, social reformer, and journalist from Kerala, India. He was a champion of implementing the revolutionary socialist reforms proposed by Sree Narayana Guru for the upliftment of the downtrodden people of Kerala. He was called Mithavathi―a minimalist―after the newspaper he published from 1913 to 1938 to spread the message of the reformist movement. He was well-educated and hailed from an influential family. Although he could have entered the government service and risen to higher positions with his education and wealth, he renounced all these for the liberation of the backward classes from the clutch of pathological social system.

Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering was established in 2002 by Kunnathunadu S.N.D.P Union. It is named after Sree Narayana Guru (1855–1928).

Sree Narayana Polytechnic College (Malayalam: ശ്രീ നാരായണ പോളിടെക് നിക്ക് is located in Kottiyam near Kollam, Kerala in southern India. It is named after the Saint and social reformer "Sree Narayana Guru". Sree Narayanaguru Open University is a state open university located in Kollam, Kerala, established in 2020 by the government of Kerala. The first open university in Kerala, it was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2021. The university consists of regional centres and study centres. It is the only public university in Kerala to offer distance education, with its establishment, all the distance education courses offered by state-run universities—University of Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi University, University of Calicut, and Kannur University came under the administrative control and purview of the new university.
