Drew Allemang is the former assistant general manager and director of Canadian scouting for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). [1]

Administrative career

Allemang was first hired by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as the team's Assistant Equipment Manager in 2008 and would also volunteer with the personnel department. [1] [2] He was named the team's Coordinator of Football Operations in 2009 and served in that role for two years. [3] He was then named the team's coordinator of Canadian player development and head Canadian scout in 2011. [3] On March 8, 2013, he was named the director of Canadian scouting. [4] Allemang was promoted to assistant general manager on March 11, 2016, while continuing to serve as the director of Canadian scouting. [5] After three years in the assistant GM role, he was named senior director of personnel and co-manager of football operations, along with Shawn Burke, on January 3, 2019, effectively making the pair the team's co-general managers. [6] After Burke left the Tiger-Cats, the team re-organized their front office structure and Allemang was named the assistant general manager and director of Canadian scouting on December 24, 2021. [7] He was not retained for the 2025 season. [8]

Personal life

Allemang's father, Marv, played in the CFL for 14 years, including seven years with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he won the 74th Grey Cup. [1] [9] Allemang's uncle, Kent Carter, played for the Tiger-Cats from 1976 to 1978. [1] He has one sister, Andrea, and one brother, Matt, who also works for the Tiger-Cats. [9]

Orlondo Steinauer is the president of football operations for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). As a player, he played professional Canadian football as a safety for 13 seasons with the Ottawa Rough Riders, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts from 1996 to 2008. He finished his career second all-time in CFL history for interception return yards with 1178 yards. Steinauer was a two-time Grey Cup champion as a player after winning in 1999 with the Tiger-Cats and in 2004 with the Argonauts. He has also won a championship as a coach, winning the 100th Grey Cup as the defensive backs coach for the Toronto Argonauts in 2012.

Edward Hervey is an American former professional football wide receiver who is the general manager for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos for eight years and also served as general manager of the Eskimos from 2013 through 2016, winning the 103rd Grey Cup to conclude the 2015 CFL season. He was later the general manager for the BC Lions from 2017 to 2020 and for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2024. He played college football at the University of Southern California.

Eric Tillman is an American-born Canadian football executive who is the vice president of football operations for the Atlantic Schooners. He was previously the general manager of the BC Lions (1993–94), Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Renegades (2002–04), Saskatchewan Roughriders (2006–2010), Edmonton Eskimos (2010–2012), and Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2016–2018). As a general manager, Tillman has won the Grey Cup three times. In addition to his career as an executive, Tillman has also worked as a CFL analyst for TSN, the CBC, and Rogers Sportsnet in 1998, 2000, and 2005.

Richard Wade was a member of the Canadian Football League, working for the British Columbia Lions, the Calgary Stampeders, the Ottawa Renegades and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Wade entered the league as a guest coach in 2004 and subsequently held various player personnel, scouting and front office roles in the league through 2011.

In addition to the CFL, he has coached in the NCAA, NFL Europe and The Spring League. He has also served in an executive for University of Hawaii—Mānoa. Reinebold has appeared as football analyst on Sky Sports NFL telecasts in the United Kingdom.

James Barker is a football executive and coach. He is currently employed by TSN as a CFL panelist. His most recent employment in Canadian football was a senior advisor for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Barker has been the general manager of the Calgary Stampeders from 2005–07, and the Argonauts from 2011-2016. He was also the head coach of the Argonauts in 1999, with the Stampeders in 2003, and then again with the Argos in 2010-11. He has also been a sports analyst for the CFL on TSN. Barker has also served as a football operations consultant and assistant coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a four-time Grey Cup champion having won twice as an assistant coach and twice as a football administrator.

Michael P. McCarthy is a professional football executive and scout. He was born in Oneida, New York and raised in Rome, New York. McCarthy began playing football at Rome (NY) Free Academy H.S. where he earned All-State football honours and was an all-star in lacrosse and wrestling. Currently, he is a pro football player personnel consultant.

Marv Allemang is a former professional Canadian football offensive lineman and defensive lineman who played 14 seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He most notably played center for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Ottawa Rough Riders later in his career.

The 2017 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 68th overall. The Tiger-Cats finished the season in third place in the East Division with a 6–12 record and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2012. After a loss to the Calgary Stampeders on October 13, 2017, followed by an Ottawa Redblacks win later that night, the Tiger-Cats were eliminated from post-season contention.

The 2020 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was scheduled to be the 63rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 71st overall. This would have been the second season for the Tiger-Cats under co-general managers Drew Allemang and Shawn Burke and the second season under head coach Orlondo Steinauer.

The 2021 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 63rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 71st overall. The Tiger-Cats qualified for the playoffs for the third consecutive year following their week 14 win over the BC Lions on November 5, 2021. The team defeated the Montreal Alouettes and Toronto Argonauts in the playoffs to qualify for their 22nd Grey Cup game appearance. In a rematch of the previous season's game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Tiger-Cats lost to the Blue Bombers 33–25 in overtime in the 108th Grey Cup game.
