Rob Katz (born 1969 or 1970) is a former interim general manager for the Hamilton Tiger Cats from 2005 to 2006 and the chief operating officer for the Tiger Cats from 2005 to 2007. Before his career with the Tiger Cats, Katz held previous positions in American sports including the Florida Marlins and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Early life and education

Katz spent his childhood in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 1992. [1] [2]

Career

During his career, Katz held multiple positions in sports including the Doral Open, Homestead-Miami Speedway and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. [3] From 1992 to 1994, Katz worked in business operations for the Florida Marlins. In 1994, he was employed by the clothing company Nutmeg Mills in the marketing department until 1997. Katz went on to become senior director of merchandise for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for two years and was selected to be marketing director at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in 1999. [2] Katz also was a co-creator of the marketing company ConVision. [4]

Hamilton Tiger Cats

On August 10, 2005, Katz was named chief operating officer of the Hamilton Tiger Cats and replaced Ron Lancaster as interim general manager. Katz was previously a special assistant to the Tiger Cats upon his promotion in 2005. [3] A year later, Katz left his position of general manager on August 30, 2006 and was replaced by Marcel Desjardins. [5] Katz's term with the Tiger Cats ended in January 2007 when he resigned from his position of COO. [6] After leaving the Tiger Cats, Katz became a co-owner of a drone company called PrecisionHawk. Jeff Reinebold is a Canadian football coach. He is currently the special teams coordinator for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). In the CFL Reinebold has also coached for the Las Vegas Posse,Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Edmonton Eskimos, BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes. In addition to the CFL he has coached in the NCAA, NFL Europe and The Spring League. Reinebold is a frequent analyst on Sky Sports NFL telecasts in the United Kingdom.

Jim Barker Canadian football coach

James Barker is a sports analyst for the CFL on TSN and is a former gridiron football coach and administrator. He was most recently a football operations consultant and assistant coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He has also served as a head coach and general manager for the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts. He is a four-time Grey Cup champion having won twice as an assistant coach and twice as a football administrator.

Archie J. Amerson is an American former professional Canadian football running back and slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1997 to 2004, appearing in 122 regular season games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and one regular season game for the Toronto Argonauts. In 1999, he was part of the Tiger-Cats team that won the 87th Grey Cup. He missed the entire 2005 season due to injury and was released by the Tiger-Cats afterwards. At the time of his release, Amerson was one of the most prolific receivers in Tiger-Cats history, ranking third in receptions, fourth in receiving yards, fifth in kickoff return yards, and sixth in touchdowns.

Zach Collaros American Professional Canadian football quarterback

Zachary J. Collaros is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Collaros won the 107th Grey Cup and 108th Grey Cup as the starting quarterback with the Blue Bombers when they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in both games. He had previously won the Grey Cup as the backup quarterback with the Toronto Argonauts in the 100th Grey Cup. Collaros played football at the University of Cincinnati, and has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts.

The 2017 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 68th overall. The Tiger-Cats finished the season in 3rd place in the East Division with a 6–12 record and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2012. After a loss to the Calgary Stampeders on October 13, 2017, followed by an Ottawa Redblacks win later that night, the Tiger-Cats were eliminated from post-season contention.

Drew Allemang is the assistant general manager and director of Canadian scouting for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
