The film was produced by cinematographer J. G. Krishna, who was Jaggesh's classmate. [1] [2]
The music was composed and written by Hamsalekha and released under the Lahari Music label. [3]

Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film Sati Sulochana directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. Komal Kumar, known mononymously as Komal, is an Indian actor and film producer known for his work in Kannada cinema. He made his acting debut with Super Nan Maga in 1992. Since his debut, Komal has acted in over 100 films, initially in comedic roles as a supporting actor before playing lead roles. Bullet Basya is a 2015 Indian Kannada comedy film directed by Jayatheertha, and stars Sharan and Haripriya. The supporting cast features Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila and Yathiraj Jaggesh. The title of the film was taken from Sudheer's character in the 1989 Kannada film C.B.I. Shankar. The creators however confirmed that there was no connection between the two.

Mari Kannu Hori Myage also spelled as Maari Kannu Hori Myage is a 1998 Indian Kannada-language comedy film starring Jaggesh, Archana, Utthara and Dheerendra Gopal. The film written and directed by Kumar was named after a famous track from the Kannada film A released in the same year. The movie humorously deals with the troubles of a man from a middle-class family who becomes the victim of a slight misunderstanding. The film edited by T. Shashikumar has soundtrack scored by Rajesh Ramanath and cinematography handled by Sundarnath Suvarna. The film upon release met with positive reception.

Makeup is a 2002 Indian Kannada-language comedy film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and starring Jaggesh in dual getups and Laila Patel. It was released on 3 October 2002.

Lift Kodla is a 2010 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film directed by Ashok Kashyap and starring Jaggesh and Komal. It is a remake of the Telugu-language film Mee Sreyobhilashi (2007), which itself is based on the Japanese film Ikinai (1998). The film deals with the topic of suicides and was released a day after television actors Indudhar and Hema committed suicide. The film was a box office success and ran for more than four weeks in theatres.
