Premise
The story follows Murli, a young man madly in love with Mehak. But there’s one strange reason his marriage can’t happen, there’s no woman in his house. Her family refuses to send their daughter into a home without a female presence. Smita Srivastava of Dainik Jagran rated the film 3 out of 5 stars, [9] Dhawal Roy of The Times of India gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5 and said that "Sanjay Mishra shines as the loving but wishy-washy Durlabh and excels in the comedic portions.", [10] while Simran Singh of DNA awarded it 3 stars. Vinamra Mathur of Firstpost rated it 3/5 stars. [12] Deccan Chronicle also gave 3 stars out of 5, [13] as did Jaya Dwivedi of India TV . [14]
Amit Bhatia of ABP News calls it a "pleasant, entertaining watch that balances humour with meaningful commentary." [15] Rishabh Suri of Hindustan Times rated it 2/5 stars and said that "Overall, Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shaadi is driven by good intentions, but intentions alone do not make for engaging cinema. What could have been a warm exploration of companionship ends up as a film that remains underwhelming in execution." [16]
