Dushasana is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language political thriller film directed by Posani Krishna Murali and starring Srikanth.
This film marks the second collaboration between Srikanth and Posani Krishna Murali after Operation Duryodhana (2007). [1]
A critic from Deccan Herald opined that "Dushasana is best left to die an early death at the box office". [2] Radhika Rajamani of Rediff.com rated the film 2/5 stars and wrote, "Watch this political thriller if you've got nothing else to do". [3]
Nandamuri Balakrishna , also known as Balayya or NBK, is an Indian actor, film producer and politician known for his works in Telugu cinema. Balakrishna is an elected member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Hindupuram constituency since 2014. The son of actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao, Balakrishna made his debut as a child artist at the age of 14 with the film Tatamma Kala (1974). In 2025, the Government of India honoured him with third-highest civilian award in India, the Padma Bhushan. Meka Srikanth is an Indian actor who is known for works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has appeared in more than 120 films. The actor has received one state Nandi Award, and one Filmfare Award South. He has starred in films like Swarabhishekam, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for 2004. Srikanth's another film Virodhi premiered at the Indian panorama section, at the 2011 International Film Festival of India. Sri Rama Rajyam also had a special screening at International Film Festival of India on 28 November 2011. He has also appeared in some other language films including Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil films.

The movie was a box office success, and Srikanth earned a nomination for Filmfare Best Actor – Telugu for his portrayal in the movie. The film was remade in Tamil as Thee. It was also dubbed into Hindi as Operation Dhuryodhana. An unrelated sequel to the film, Operation Duryodhana 2, released in 2013 under the direction of Nandam Harischandra Rao with Jagapathi Babu in lead role.
