e-Sampark is a mechanism used by the Government of India to contact citizens electronically and is a part of the Digital India campaign. The name is derived from the Hindi word sampark meaning contact. [1]

In addition another Karnataka Sampark Kranti started which runs between Chandigarh and Yeshvantapur. It provides a substitute to the Karnataka SF Express and also of superfast express category. The frequency of these trains in compilation of all the Sampark Kranti is daily. These trains provide an alternative link between Bangalore City railway station and New Delhi stations. It is the India's first Sampark Kranti SF Express train started by railways which started in 2004
Kannur railway station (station code: CAN) is an NSG–2 category Indian railway station in Palakkad railway division of Southern Railway zone. It is the largest railway station serving the City of Kannur in Kerala. It lies in the Shoranur–Mangalore section of the Southern Railway zone. It is the largest railway station in terms of area and number of tracks in North Malabar region. At ₹62 crore in financial year 2018–19, it is the fifth largest in terms of passenger revenues in Kerala, and second largest under Palakkad railway division. Almost all major trains connecting the other parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and North India halt here. Kannur and Kannur South are two different stations which serve Kannur city.
The 12651 / 12652 Tamil Nadu Sampark Kranti Express is one of the Sampark Kranti Express trains, operating on India's broad-gauge network that connects Madurai Junction in Tamil Nadu and Hazrat Nizamuddin in New Delhi, a distance of approximately 2,676 kilometres (1,663 mi) in 42 hours approximately, maintaining an average speed of 63 km/h (39 mph). From April 2021, it runs with newly manufactured highly refurbished LHB rakes.
Gaya Junction railway station is a junction station serving the city of Gaya, the headquarters of Gaya district and Magadh Division in the Indian state of Bihar. Gaya is in the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya railway division of the East Central Railway zone. Grand Chord rail-line that connects Howrah and New Delhi passes through Gaya. There are also two other broad-gauge train lines from Gaya, one to Patna and the other to Kiul Junction. The city has two major railway stations: Gaya Junction & Manpur Junction. Gaya is well connected with Patna, Jehanabad, Biharsharif, Rajgir, Islampur, Nawada, Dehri on sone through daily passenger and express train services.

This train was first announced during the budget session on 2004–05 of Indian Railways by then the Minister of Railways, Nitish Kumar. It was officially inaugurated on 11 March 2005 from Sealdah and on 12 March 2005 from Delhi.
