ECM Real Estate Investments A.G. is bankrupted real estate developer based in Luxembourg, that was active mostly in Czech Republic, but also in China, Poland or Russia.

Company was founded in 1991 by Michal Janků, [1] [2] he is now still its CEO and through ECM Group N.V. largest shareholder (77%) of the company. [3] Company owned inter alia two tallest buildings in the Czech Republic - City Tower and City Empiria. In 2006 company went on IPO on Prague Stock Exchange [4] with price per stock 1,318 CZK (47 EUR), getting market capitalization 262.7 mil. EUR [5] Stocks became part of PX Index and eventually reached price 2,000 CZK per share.

Mainly as result of late-2000s financial crisis company went bankrupt in May 2011 [6] and to liquidation since July 2011. [4] In 2012 liquidation was changed to reorganization, [7] but reverted to liquidation in February 2013. [1]

Before its bankruptcy, ECM was involved in the development of V Tower in Prague. [8]

The video game industry in the Czech Republic has produced numerous globally successful video games such as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and the subsequent ArmA series, the Mafia series, Truck Simulator series, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the Samorost series and others. There were 300–400 video game developers and around 30 video game companies focusing on video game development in 2014. In 2017 it was 1,100 developers and 47 companies. Video games are also considered by some experts to be the country's biggest cultural export. The video game industry did not enjoy a good reputation and was unsupported by the state until 2013, when the Ministry of Industry and Trade started to seek ways to kickstart the economy. At present, he is the sole owner of Sev.en Energy Group, a major player in the Czech energy market which is planning to expand to the European energy market. His wealth is estimated at US$1.03 billion, which according to Forbes magazine makes him the fifth richest person in the Czech Republic. Together with his wife, Pavel Tykač is significantly engaged in charity projects and support for the North Bohemian Region and the Pardubice Region.

Via Chem Group, a.s. (VCG) is a Czech holding company owned by Euro Capital Alliance registered on the British Virgin Islands. In 2003 VCG acquired 8.8% stake in chemical producer Spolek pro chemickou a hutní výrobu (Spolchemie). In 2005 VCG acquired further 39% of Spolchemie shares and in early 2006 increased its stake to 62.6%. Spolchemie is a major Czech producer of chlorine.

V Tower is a high-rise building in Prague, Czech Republic. It is the tallest residential building in the Czech Republic with 104 meters in height and 30 floors. Construction started in 2016 and ended in 2018. It was designed by Czech architect Radan Hubička and the main investor was Aceur Investment.

It holds shares in companies in 36 countries worldwide in the four sectors lottery and gaming, energy, information technology, and real estate. Founded in Prague by Czech entrepreneur Karel Komárek, KKCG has 9,000 employees worldwide and manages assets worth more than EUR 9 billion.
