The Bens (EP) is the only release by the trio, The Bens, consisting of Ben Folds, Ben Kweller and Ben Lee, for the Bens Rock Over Australia tour from 14 to 28 March 2003. It had been recorded in Nashville with the three members producing. The 3,500 original pressings were only available at their early concerts but quickly sold out. Months later it was re-released on Internet stores. The lead track, "Just Pretend", was listed at number 52 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2003, a radio listeners' poll.

A story on Greenawalt's discovery of Kweller appeared in the New Yorker on April 7, 1997. Four Winds is an EP by the indie rock band Bright Eyes, that was released on March 6, 2007. The title track is the first single from their album Cassadaga. The other 5 tracks are exclusive b-sides from the 2006 recording sessions. It is marketed as being "quietly enchanting" and including "a wandering country charm and all of the story-telling seductiveness of earlier work. Changing Horses is the fourth studio album by Ben Kweller, which was expected for release in September 2008 but was eventually released on February 2, 2009 in Europe and February 3, 2009 in the United States. Kweller has described the new album as being more Country in style than his previous releases. The album features his rhythm section Chris Morrissey (bass) and Mark Stepro (drums). It also debuts the talents of Kitt Kitterman, Kweller's manager, who plays pedal steel guitar and Dobro. On November 23, 2008, the full album leaked onto the Internet. In a statement, ATO Records said the leak was not the final version of the album. The song "Hurtin' You" was debuted on Stereogum. The whole album was made available to stream exclusively on Last.fm.

Hymns is an indie rock band based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally consisting of North Carolina natives Brian Harding and Jason Roberts, the band picked up Texas-based rockers Tony Kent (drums) and Matt Shaw upon arriving in New York City.
