The East Hants Penguins are a Junior ice hockey team from East Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Penguins play in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League and are the 2007 Don Johnson Cup Maritime Junior B Champions.
The Penguins were founded in 2000, but East Hants has a history that dates back decades in junior hockey.
In 2007, the Penguins won their first league title and went on to the Don Johnson Cup Maritime Junior B Championships. They defeated the host Cumberland County Blues 7–2, Central West Junior Hockey League's Central Jr. Cataracts 11–2, New Brunswick's Madawaska 506 who played in Quebec all season 12–4, and the Island Junior Hockey League's Kensington Vipers 6–5 in overtime to finish first in the tournament round robin with a 4–0–0 record. In the semi-final, the Penguins again crushed Central 8–3 and in the final they defeated Cumberland County 2–0 to win their first and only Don Johnson Cup.
In 2011–12, the Penguins finished second place in the regular season with a 24–8–2 record. They would go on to win the league playoff championship. At the 2012 Don Johnson Cup in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Penguins would finish the round robin with a record of three wins and one loss. The Penguins started the tournament with a 9–0 drubbing of the St. John's Junior Hockey League's Mount Pearl Jr. Blades. Next, the Penguins beat the New Brunswick Junior B Hockey League's Moncton Vito's 5–2. In the third game, the Penguins would win 3–2 in overtime to remain perfect, beating the Island Junior Hockey League's Kensington Vipers. In the final game of the round robin, the Penguins would face the also undefeated host St. John's Jr. Caps. The Jr. Caps won the game 3–2. In the semi-finals, the Penguins defeated the Kensington Vipers again 2–1. The Moncton Vito's upset the St. John's Jr. Caps in the other semi-final and were set to play the Penguins in the final. The final went to overtime and the Vito's prevailed with a 2–1 victory.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada. It is under the supervision of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).
The Kensington Vipers are a Canadian Junior ice hockey club from Kensington, Prince Edward Island. They are members of the Island Junior Hockey League and are 2011 and 2013 Don Johnson Memorial Cup Atlantic Junior B champions.
The Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league under Hockey Canada, a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League. It consists of six teams from New Brunswick, which make up the EastLink North Division, five teams from Nova Scotia, and one team from Prince Edward Island which make up the Eastlink South Division. The winner of the MHL playoffs competes for the Centennial Cup against the winners of the 8 other tier 2 junior A leagues across Canada. Prior to the pandemic the MHL champions would participate in the Fred Page Cup. This tournament involved the Bogart Cup champions from the CCHL(Ontario), the Kent Cup champions from the MHL(Maritimes) and the winner of the La Coupe Napa of the QJHL(Québec) as well as a pre determined host. The winner would move on to compete for the Canadian National Junior A Championship. However with the departure of the BCHL whom ended affiliation with the CJHL in March 2021 as well as Hockey Canada in June 2023 becoming an independent league. No Centennial Cup qualifying tournaments such as the Kent Cup have been played since 2022 and instead all the league champions have directly advanced to the Centennial Cup.
The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League is a Junior "B" ice hockey league in Nova Scotia, Canada, sanctioned by Hockey Canada. The winner of the Nova Scotia playoffs competes for the Don Johnson Cup, the Atlantic Junior "B" Crown.
The Wellington Dukes are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Wellington, Ontario, Canada. They are in the Eastern Division of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and used to be a part of the Metro Junior A Hockey League. Originally a Junior C team in the 1970s and 1980s, the Dukes merged with the neighbouring Jr. B Belleville Bobcats and took their place in the Metro League. The Dukes have won the Dudley Hewitt Cup as Central Canadian Junior A Champions three times. The Dukes also won the Buckland Cup for the third time on April 22, 2018.

Their home rink from 2003 to 2008 was the MacLauchlan Arena on the campus of UPEI. Before then, it was the Charlottetown Civic Centre.

The Casselman Vikings are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team in Casselman, Ontario. The Vikings play in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL). Between 2014-15 and the end of the 2019-2020 seasons, the EOJHL and the CCHL set a new agreement in an attempt to create a better player development model. This resulted in the league re-branding itself as the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 (CCHL2), and shrinking to 16 teams and two divisions. The league reverted to the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League for 2021. Prior to 2015, their league was known as the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League of the Ottawa District Hockey Association. The Vikings have won the Carson Trophy three times and were the 2014 Don Johnson Memorial Cup Eastern Canadian Jr. B Champions.

The Northeast Jr. Eagles are a Canadian Junior ice hockey club from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. They are members of the St. John's Junior Hockey League, are a former Junior A team, and were the first ever Don Johnson Cup Maritime Junior B champions in 1982.
