Washington Heights is a neighborhood in the uppermost part of the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is named for Fort Washington, a fortification constructed at the highest natural point on Manhattan Island by Continental Army troops to defend the area from the British forces during the American Revolutionary War. Washington Heights is bordered by Inwood to the north along Dyckman Street, by Harlem to the south along 155th Street, by the Harlem River and Coogan's Bluff to the east, and by the Hudson River to the west.

The history of Fort Worth, Texas, in the United States is closely intertwined with that of northern Texas and the Texan frontier. Green Oaks Boulevard is a 22.8-mile-long (36.7 km) loop road, located almost entirely in the city of Arlington, in the U.S. state of Texas. Green Oaks Boulevard creates a loop around Arlington, traveling north from State Highway 360 (SH 360) north, back to SH 360. The highway is the only loop in the city of Arlington.
The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex has over one million African-American and the second largest metro population of African-Americans in Texas.
