The Dark Side of the Moon is the eighth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 1 March 1973 by Harvest Records in the UK and Capitol Records in the US. Developed during live performances before recording began, it was conceived as a concept album that would focus on the pressures faced by the band during their arduous lifestyle, and also deal with the mental health problems of the former band member Syd Barrett, who departed the group in 1968. New material was recorded in two sessions in 1972 and 1973 at EMI Studios in London.
Let Go is the debut studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, released on June 4, 2002, by Arista Records. For a year after signing a record deal with Arista, Lavigne struggled due to conflicts in musical direction. She relocated to Los Angeles, where she recorded her earlier material for the album, the sound of which the label did not approve. She was paired with the production team the Matrix, who understood her vision for the album. Critics have described Let Go as an alternative rock album with a pop-punk and post-grunge-oriented sound.
Jazz is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 10 November 1978 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker, the album artwork was suggested by Roger Taylor, who previously saw a similar design painted on the Berlin Wall. The album's varying musical styles were alternately praised and criticised. It reached number two in the UK Albums Chart and number six on the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart.
2 Plus 1 were a Polish band performing pop and folk music, and, in the later period of their activity, also synthpop and rock. They were founded in 1971 by Janusz Kruk and Elżbieta Dmoch. The band recorded ten studio albums, three of which have been certified Gold in Poland, and established such evergreen hits as "Chodź, pomaluj mój świat", "Windą do nieba" and "Iść w stronę słońca". They have won a number of local and international awards, and performed in countries around the world, such as Germany, the Soviet Union, the United States, Canada and Cuba. 2 Plus 1 enjoyed their biggest popularity in the 1970s, but remained successful into the mid-1980s. In addition, the band achieved notable success in Western Europe and Japan with the songs "Easy Come, Easy Go" and "Singapore". The end of 2 Plus 1's activity was marked by the death of Janusz Kruk in 1992. A successful, but short lived reunion took place at the end of the 1990s. 2 Plus 1 remain one of the most successful bands in the history of Polish popular music, and their musical legacy still proves influential in Poland.
Ernest Otton Wilimowski, nicknamed "Ezi", was a footballer who played as a forward. He ranks among the best goalscorers in the history of both the Poland national team and Polish club football. After re-taking German citizenship following the invasion of Poland, he also played for the Germany national team.
The Sandpipers were an American easy listening trio who carved a niche in 1960s folk rock with their vocals and innovative arrangements of international ballads and pop standards. They are best remembered for their cover version of "Guantanamera", which became a transatlantic top 10 hit in 1966, and their top 20 hit "Come Saturday Morning" from the soundtrack of the film The Sterile Cuckoo in 1970.
Twenty Five is the second compilation album by English singer-songwriter George Michael released in the UK on 13 November 2006, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his music career. It was released on 13 November 2006 by Sony BMG. It debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and number 23 on the Billboard 200, and it reached the top 20 on most other album charts. Minutes to Midnight is the third studio album by American rock band Linkin Park, released on May 14, 2007, through Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin; it is Linkin Park's first studio album produced without Don Gilmore, who had produced the band's two previous albums. Minutes to Midnight is the band's follow-up album to Meteora (2003), and features a shift in the group's musical direction. For the band, the album marked a beginning of deviation from their signature nu metal sound. Minutes to Midnight takes its title from the Doomsday Clock symbol. It is also the band's first full-length album to carry a Parental Advisory label.

Decapitated is a Polish death metal band formed in Krosno in 1996. The group comprises guitarist, founder and composer Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka, vocalist Rafał Piotrowski, bassist Paweł Pasek and drummer James Stewart. Decapitated have gained recognition as one of the genre's most widely respected bands and one of the finest exponents of technical death metal. The band earned an international fan base in the underground music community and became an innovating act in the modern death metal genre.

The album turned out a huge commercial success and was certified Gold in Poland for selling in over 150,000 copies. It was re-released on CD twice: in 1995, with a slightly altered cover and 5 bonus tracks, and in 2001, retaining the original cover and standard track listing.
Warsaw Nights is the seventh studio album by Polish group 2 Plus 1, released in 1981. It was their second and last international album, released by Autobahn Records in Germany, and Express in Japan, where it sported a different cover. The LP was recorded with the same set of producers as on Easy Come, Easy Go. "Mama Chita" and "Lady Runaway" were released as singles. Neither Warsaw Nights nor 2 Plus 1's first international album were re-released on CD in their entirety.

The album included a number of hit songs: "Kołysanka matki", "Na luzie" and "Gwiazda dnia", the latter recorded for the 1973 film In Desert and Wilderness. The album was re-released on CD in 2001.
