Ed Alonzo (born July 26, 1962) [1] is an American comedian, actor, and professional magician.
Alonzo had roles on Saved by the Bell (20 episodes between 1989–1990), Head of the Class and Totally Hidden Video . He also had guest starring roles on Full House , Murphy Brown , and Xuxa . Alonzo performed a special daily show incorporating his comedy and magic at California's Great America. Alonzo has also performed for Knott's Berry Farm, Valleyfair!, and Worlds of Fun, and appeared on one episode of Cycle 11's America's Next Top Model . In 2009 he worked with Britney Spears to create illusions for her 2009 The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour. [2] He also had a role on How I Met Your Mother as a security guard, and appeared in an episode of Modern Family as a magician named Kaiser Mayhem.
Alonzo was one of the magicians working on Michael Jackson's This Is It concerts as part of Jackson's crew in the rehearsal which took place the night before Jackson's death on June 25, 2009. [3] He has also worked with Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and magician David Blaine. [4]
He also has a show at Knotts Halloween Haunt called Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic and Mayhem. At Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, he performed his show Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic and Mayhem both summers of 2012 and 2013. He performed as part of Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt for the Haunt seasons of 2014, 2015 and again performed in the 2016 season at the Tivoli Theatre.
Alonzo reprised his role as Max the magician/owner of Max's Diner in the reboot/sequel Saved by the Bell television series on Peacock streaming network.

"Boys" is a song by American singer Britney Spears from her self-titled third studio album (2001). It was written and produced by Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams. A version of the song titled "The Co-Ed Remix" and featuring guest vocals from Williams was released as the fifth single from Britney on June 24, 2002. The new version also served as the second single from the soundtrack of Austin Powers in Goldmember. "Boys" is a pop, R&B and hip hop song, including funk influences. The remix carries a slower tempo than the album version, and both versions were noted by critics to be reminiscent of music by American artist Janet Jackson. Some critics praised Spears and Williams' chemistry, as well as the production on the track, while others did not think the song worked well.
Carl Ballantine was an American magician, comedian and actor. Billing himself as "The Great Ballantine", "The Amazing Ballantine" or "Ballantine: The World's Greatest Magician", his vaudeville-style comedy routine involved transparent or incompetent stage magic tricks, which tended to flop and go "hilariously awry" to the wisecracking Ballantine's mock chagrin. He has been credited with creating comedy magic and has influenced comedians and magicians alike.

John Max Thompson was an American comedian and Las Vegas illusionist who performed under the stage name The Great Tomsoni with his wife, Pamela Hayes. They had a comedic slapstick act with the well-dressed Thompson and his gum-popping assistant, Pam, performing illusions while enduring a series of mishaps. Within the magician community, Tomsoni was considered a virtuoso, widely known as a mentor and teacher of magic, and a creator of tricks, as opposed to simply a performer. He worked behind the scenes with magicians such as Penn and Teller, Lance Burton, Criss Angel and Mat Franco. In 1999, he was awarded one of the highest honors in the magician community, a Masters Fellowship with the Academy of Magical Arts. January 30, 2020, Showtime released a documentary about Thompson written and directed by Emery Emery called Gambler's Ballad: The Legend of Johnny Thompson.
Daniel Sylvester Battagline, also known as Sylvester The Jester, is an American magician, best known for playing a cartoon character who comes to life. He has had hundreds of stage and television appearances, including NBC’s "World's Wildest Magic," ABC’s "Champions of Magic III", Jerry Lewis's Muscular Dystrophy Telethon and The Discovery Channel’s "More Science of Magic." He has performed in multiple Las Vegas shows including opening for The Amazing Johnathan, and appearing at Caesar’s Magical Empire. He also produces a series of magic products, and has been credited with creating the illustrations for various magic publications, such as the cover for The Amazing Johnathan's Every Trick in the Book, and the poster for John Carney's "Mr. Mysto" act. In 1996, he also created a prop for the television show, "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch." He has been featured on the cover of several magic and culture-related magazines, such as the September 1998 issue of Magic.

The Circus Starring Britney Spears, commonly referred to as the Circus Tour, was the seventh concert tour by American entertainer Britney Spears. It was launched in support of her sixth studio album, Circus (2008). Rumors of a tour arose as early as October 2007, however, nothing was confirmed until December 2008, when the tour was officially announced, with North American and European dates revealed. The stage was composed of three rings and set in-the-round to resemble an actual circus. Fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten created the costumes. A giant cylinder screen was set above the stage to showcase videos and backdrops. Effects were provided by Solotech. Magician Ed Alonzo joined Spears during the second act. The setlist was composed generally from her albums In the Zone, Blackout and Circus. Spears announced she would tour Australia for the first time in June 2009.
Justin Willman is an American magician, comedian, producer, and television personality. He is the creator and star of Magic for Humans on Netflix. The third season of Magic for Humans was released on May 15, 2020. He has made regular appearances on The Tonight Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Conan. His debut comedy/magic special Sleight of Mouth premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. He hosts the shows Cupcake Wars, Halloween Wars,King of Cones on the Food Network, Disney's Win, Lose or Draw on Disney Channel, along with Baking Impossible and ‘’THE MAGIC PRANK SHOW with Justin Willman’’ on Netflix. Willman resides in Los Angeles with his wife Jillian Sipkins and son Jackson Willman and daughter Rosie Willman.
The Magic Castle is a clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts and for magicians and magic enthusiasts. The Academy was started in 1952 by William Larsen Sr., who founded Genii magazine in 1936. The Castle was opened on January 2, 1963 by brothers Bill and Milt Larsen, sons of William Sr and Bill's wife Irene Larsen.
Murray John Sawchuck is a stage illusionist, magician, comedian, actor, and host. Based in Las Vegas, SawChuck has dubbed himself "The 'Dennis the Menace' of Magic," and his shows often consist of a blend of "comical mishaps" that result in illusions and magic tricks. He was featured in the fifth season of America's Got Talent, and is the resident magic historian on Pawn Stars. SawChuck has also appeared as a magic coach on five episodes of the VH1 series Celebracadabra, and has been a guest star on shows such as Reno 911!, Last Comic Standing, Celebrity Blind Date, War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave, and Ring of Darkness.
Allin Kempthorne is a British actor, magician and entertainer. As a magician he works under three distinct identities as Alan Thorn, Professor Strange and Gizmo. He was originally a tabloid newspaper cartoonist. He directed and starred in the comedy film The Vampires of Bloody Island and was shortlisted in the 2012 Twitter Shorty Awards.
Harry & Bunnie is a Malaysian animated television series created by the Malaysian-based company, Animasia Studio. It follows young wannabe magician Harry who invents magical tricks to impress his friends, but always in vain. Meanwhile, his mischievous stage rabbit Bunnie always ends up stealing the limelight with its ongoing mission to steal Harry's magic wand. Harry always creates elaborate plans to take back his wand but always fails in the end.
David Williamson is a professional sleight-of-hand artist, magician, and author. David Britland of Genii magazine called him "an exceptional stage performer" and "a magician who changed the way we do magic." He was named Magician of the Year in 2017 by the Academy of the Magical Arts, and was named an Honorary Member of prestigious British association The Magic Circle.
