Edward John Mooney (born February 26, 1945) is a former professional American football linebacker for five seasons for the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Colts in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Lions in the fourth round (93rd overall) of the 1968 NFL draft.
Edward came to Tech on a track scholarship from a junior-college in Nebraska. Tech track and field coach Vernon Hilliard recruited him, and a football assistant, seeing Mooney’s 6-3, 245-pound stature, talked him into making time for both sports. In college, Mooney played football and was on the track team for Texas Technological College (now Texas Tech University). Mooney was an all-SWC linebacker for Tech in 1967, using that as a springboard to play in the East-West Shrine Game
Playing linebacker during his five years in the league, Mooney played his first four seasons with the Lions, and finished his final season with the Colts. He also played for the Houston Texans of the World Football League.

Emil Joseph Holub was an American football center and linebacker in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football at Texas Technological College.
Charles Louis Howley is an American former football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. He spent his first two seasons with the Chicago Bears, who selected him seventh overall in the 1958 NFL Draft, before playing the remainder of his career for the Cowboys. Recognized as an original member of the Doomsday Defense, Howley received six Pro Bowl and five first-team All-Pro selections, while appearing in two consecutive Super Bowls and winning Super Bowl VI. Howley was also named the MVP of Super Bowl V and is the only player on a losing team to receive the award. He will be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2023.

Reagor was a coaching intern for the Eagles in 2011.
