Edda Ceccoli (born 26 June 1947) was Captain Regent of San Marino from 1 October 1991 to 1 April 1992. She served as co-Regent with Marino Riccardi. She has been elected to two five-year terms in the Great and Good Council. [1] She is a member of Partito Democratico Cristano Sammarinese.
From 2000 to 2002 she was Particular Secretary of the Secretary of State of Health. [2]

The captains regent are the two heads of state of the Republic of San Marino. They are elected every six months by the Grand and General Council,the country's legislative body. Normally the Regents are chosen from parties in coalition and they serve a six-month term. The investiture of the captains regent takes place on 1 April and 1 October every year. This tradition dates back at least to 1243.
Domenico Fattori was a Sammarinese politician who was the Secretary for Foreign Affairs of San Marino from 1860 to 1908. Fattori also served as a captain regent of San Marino 12 times,each for the usual six-month terms. He was the Captain Regent with the longest cumulative term.
