Marie-Theres Nadig is a retired Swiss alpine skier. Aged 17, she won gold medals in the downhill and giant slalom events at the 1972 Winter Olympics. During her career Nadig won 24 world cup races and had 57 podium finishes. At the 1980 Winter Olympics, she was third in the downhill event. After retiring from competitions, between 1999 and 2005 she worked as a national coach.
Egon Zimmermann, often referred to as Egon Zimmermann II, was a World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist from Austria. Zimmermann won the Olympic downhill at Patscherkofel in 1964 and won several medals on the professional tour in the late-1960s and early 1970s.
Astrid Sandvik is a Norwegian Alpine skier who finished tied for sixth place in the women's slalom at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. In 1963, Sandvik was awarded the Holmenkollen medal. Sandvik is one of only eleven non-Nordic skiers to win the Holmenkollen medal.
Christine Béranger-Goitschel is a former French alpine skier. She is the elder sister of fellow champion skier Marielle Goitschel and the aunt of the former speed skier Philippe Goitschel. Her sister Patricia was a national junior champion in the slalom in 1964.

This was South Africa's fourth time appearing at a Winter Olympic Games. The nation's delegation consisted of a single alpine skier, Alexander Heath. In his best performance, he finished 27th in the men's slalom.
Jean Marlene Saubert was an alpine ski racer from the United States. She won two medals in the 1964 Winter Olympics at Innsbruck, Austria. After graduating from college, Saubert became an educator.

Marianne Jahn-Nutt is a retired Austrian alpine skier. She won two gold medals at the 1962 World Championships, in the slalom and giant slalom events. She competed at the 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics with the best result of 13th place in the giant slalom in 1964.
Wolfgang Bartels was a German alpine skier who competed for the United Team of Germany in the 1964 Winter Olympics.
Erika "Riki" Mahringer was an Austrian alpine skier who competed in the 1948 and 1952 Winter Olympics. In 1948 she won the bronze medal in the slalom event as well as in the Alpine combined competition. In the downhill contest she finished 19th. Four years later she finished fourth in the 1952 Olympic downhill event. In the same year she finished 17th in the giant slalom competition and 22nd in the slalom contest.
Yevgeniya Nikolaevna Sidorova was a Soviet alpine skier who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1956 Winter Olympics, in the 1960 Winter Olympics, and in the 1964 Winter Olympics.

Florence Steurer is a French former alpine skier. She competed in the 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics in the downhill, slalom, and giant slalom events and won a bronze medal in the slalom in 1972. She also finished fourth and sixth in the giant slalom, respectively.
Peru sent a delegation to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 12–28 February 2010. This marked Peru's debut at the Winter Olympics. The Peruvian delegation consisted of three athletes: two alpine skiers—Manfred Oettl Reyes and Ornella Oettl Reyes—and the cross-country skier Roberto Carcelen. The nation's best performance in any event was 67th place in the men's giant slalom alpine skiing event by Manfred Oettl Reyes.
Giustina Demetz is an Italian former alpine skier who competed at the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics in the downhill, slalom and giant slalom events. She failed her slalom races, and finished in 11–14th place in the other two events. Demetz won one downhill stage of the 1967 World Cup and finished third overall.
Georgina Melissa "Gina" Hathorn is a British former alpine skier who competed in the 1964 Winter Olympics and 1968 Winter Olympics, where she finished fourth in the Slalom, and in the 1972 Winter Olympics.
Felice De Nicolò is a retired Italian alpine skier. He finished 25th in the downhill at the 1960 Winter Olympics and 28th in the giant slalom at the 1964 Winter Olympics. In 1964 he won the downhill and slalom events at the Three Cableways Cup.
Linda Meyers is a retired American alpine ski racer, a former member of the United States Ski Team. She competed at the Winter Olympics in 1960 and 1964. On home state snow in 1960, Meyers tumbled in the downhill event, but completed the descent and placed 33rd; she failed to finish the giant slalom. In 1964, she placed 12th in the slalom and 30th in the giant slalom.
