Edmond Miles Brown is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the deputy commanding general for combat development of United States Army Futures Command since November 2024. He most recently served as the chief of staff of the United States Army Futures Command from 2023 to 2024. He also served as the commanding general of the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command. [1] [2]
In July 2024, Brown was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as deputy commanding general for combat development of the United States Army Futures Command. [3] [4]

He previously served as the chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed from July 2020 until the operation's duties and responsibilities were transferred to the White House COVID-19 Response Team in February 2021.
