Eduardo Enrique "Balero" Torres is an Argentine politician. Formerly active in the Radical Civic Union,he sat in the Argentine Senate representing Misiones Province in the majority block of the Front for Victory from 2007 to 2011. [1]
Torres served as a provincial deputy. He was President of the provincial Radical party but,like many Radicals in Misiones,became part of the cross-party Front for the Renewal of Concordia,formed to support the Justicialist governor Carlos Rovira and which also supports the national government of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and her predecessor Néstor Kirchner.
Torres served from 2003 until 2007 as head of the Misiones state lottery. He became a senator in 2007 replacing Maurice Closs upon his election as Governor of Misiones.

Buenos Aires Province Senator and First Lady Cristina Fernández de Kirchner of the Front for Victory won the election by 45.28% of votes against Elisa Carrióof Civic Coalition ARI,making her the second female president of Argentina and the first female president to be directly elected. She broke the 40 percent barrier and won in the first round. Elisa Carriówon in the city of Buenos Aires and came second with more than 20 percent of the votes. Third was Roberto Lavagna,who won in Córdoba.

Sandra Daniela Giménez is an Argentine politician who served as a National Senator for Misioness from 10 December 2011 to 9 December 2017,as Vice Governor of Misiones from 2007 to 2011,under Maurice Closs. Born in Jardín América,Giménez studied medicine in Corrientes,graduating from the National University of the Northeast (UNNE) with specializations in surgery and pediatrics in 1991 and 1996,respectively. She had chosen to study medicine in memory of her brother,who had died at age 11. After graduating,she worked as a medical auditor for the Government of Misiones Province. Through the rest of the 1990s,she served as the Provincial Public Hospital of Pediatrics Executive Director,and in 2003 she was elected to the Chamber of Representatives of Misiones as a member of the Front for the Renewal of Concord party,serving until 2007.
Magdalena Solari Quintana is an Argentine politician,currently serving as a National Senator for Misiones Province since 2017. She previously served as a member of the Posadas City Council. She is a member of the Party of Social Concord.
