Ei Ghor Ei Songsar is a 1996 Bangladeshi drama film which was directed by Malek Afsary, starring Salman Shah, Brishti, Bulbul Ahmed, Rosy Afsary, Ali Raj and Tamalika Karmakar in lead roles. This film was released on 5 April 1996. [3] [4] This film performed very poorly at the box office.

Chowdhury Muhammad Shahriar Emon, known by his stage name Salman Shah, was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. Referred in the media as the "Prince of Bangladeshi Cinema" and the "First Superstar of Modern Dhallywood", he is commonly regarded as one of the most influential and iconic figures in Bangladesh's film history. Shah appeared in 27 films in a short acting career of three years, many of which were successful. He first gained attention for his debut film, Keyamat Theke Keyamat (1993), and in the following three years appeared in leading roles in a series of commercially successful films, including Bikkhobh, Denmohor, Shujon Shokhi, Shopner Thikana, Ei Ghor Ei Shongsar, Sotter Mrittu Nei and Anondo Osru which established him as one of the most sought after leading men in Bangladeshi cinema. Subsequently, he became the highest paid actor in the industry. Three of his films, Shopner Thikana, Sotter Mrittu Nei and Keyamat Theke Keyamat are among the top ten highest grossing films of all time in Dhallywood box office.

Tamalika won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Kittonkhola. In July 2017, she performed, with Aranyak Nattaydal theatre troupe, in Rarang, on their 180th rendition.

Dildar was a Bangladeshi actor from the Chandpur district. He debuted in Bengali cinema in 1975 in the film Keno Amon Hoy. He was awarded Best Actor in a Comedy Role in 28th Bangladesh National Film Awards in 2003 for his role in the film Tumi Sudhu Aamar.

Keyamot Theke Keyamot is a Bangladeshi musical romantic drama film directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. The film was released on Eid vacation and was a huge success throughout Bangladesh. This movie was also the debut film of its two main leads Salman Shah and Moushumi, both of whom later became top movie stars in Bangladesh. The film is an official remake of the 1988 Hindi Language film titled Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, and like its predecessor, is based on Romeo and Juliet.

Malek Afsary is a Bangladeshi film director, who has directed 24 films. Afsary began his career as an Assistant Director in the early 1970s. He made his film debut as an Assistant Director in the film Piyasi Mon. He then wrote the story for the film Lutera and the dialogue for the film Kar Pape. He made his directorial debut in 1983 with the film Ghorer Bou. He is best known for his film Ei Ghor Ei Songshar in 1996 and Password in 2019.

Anwar Hossen is a Bangladeshi film actor who has appeared in nearly 400 films in Dhallywood. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor twice for his roles in the films Pure Jay Mon (2016) and Jannat (2018).
